Another beauty from a young artist pushing back against vandalism.

Anita’s latest masterwork is finished and up. I’ve never seen a prettier hare. The pink is perfect, the eyes are soft and lovely and the pose is pure gentility in the face of continuing Toronto vandalism and violence. Below is our new friend, in situ, replacing an ugly broken window caused by random thugs attacking small business in Toronto, like this neighborhood market.

You’ll recall, Anita’s first rendering followed a rock coming through the window of the grocery where she works to pay for art college. She is a reader favourite. Hare Number One is below.
