Carney was also head of the financial stability board, a powerful organization that hastens the transfer of our money to the top banksters in control. The psychopaths in charge are now moving quietly away from the climate change control narrative because they think they are getting close to the digital ID/CBDC control narrative, and they will need LOTS of energy and LOTS of water for their data centers. Now they will focus on their new and improved control techniques taking ownership of all natural assets. Thanks for trying to keep us informed Trish, and for speaking against the evil most others won't touch. Ignore the severely deluded such as ttto.

Trish Woods and the people applauding this article are the people at the bottom of society for a reason.

You people are garbage. You hate qualified people.

Carney didn't remove the carbon tax, he reduced it to zero. Smoke and mirrors. The man's a con artist. Under his leadership the tax will return one way or another, and much more

much worse to boot. Can't believe people are sucked in, but I know many who are.

Well, since I've been around the planet for going on 75 years, and since I went to school in all likelihood decades before you dropped out of Grade 8, and since I've served on both sides of the political aisle, with a look or two down the side aisles, and since I interviewed Porridgevre just weeks after his first win, finding him to be an arrogant, insufferable ass who spent a lot of time praising Stephen Harper during that interview, and since Porridgevre has not changed ONE IOTA since, and since I grew up on a farm and listened to my Dad, I consider myself more than qualified to know to separate the buckwheat from the bullshit, I can tell you with confidence that Carney is all buckwheat, and Porridgevre .....

I doubt you are familiar with the Canadian Bill of Rights. May I suggest you familiarize yourself with it. Part I Bill of Rights

b) the right of the individual to equality before the law and the protection of the law;

d) freedom of speech;

e) freedom of assembly and association; and freedom of the press.

Obviously you are unfamiliar with the Canadian Bill of Rights.

Every Prime Minister elected after John Diefenbaker — the Prime Minister who championed it — has done their utmost to subvert its obvious intent. But your ignorance of it is a consequence of the later Prime Ministers beginning with Lester B. Pearson and continuing with Pierre Trudeau, Justin Trudeau and presumably Mark Carney, should he prevail, intentionally insuring Canadians remain ignorant of their rights.

John Diefenbaker was a populist yes he was — a man of decency and genuine loyalty to his birthplace Canada.

Still getting triggered, I see…..

Thank gawd Mark Carney isn’t a career politician! We need his business acumen, crisis management and global acumen to lead a united Canada. Not someone who’s been in Quebec‘s pocket since they threatened to separate. We need someone who will equalize resources/finances with Canadians.

Joan's avatar

If you really think Mark Carney will be good for Canada I think you need to do some independent research.

Colleen O’Neill's avatar

He’s the best we have at the moment, nobody is perfect and government is not easy. I don’t for a moment. Think he’s without political restrictions, but have you researched Poilievre and Danielle Smith? Right now, he is the good in the trio of the good the bad and the downright ugly.

MacGuffin's avatar

Oh, please do enlighten us on Carney's 'business acumen' - we are all ears.

DJS's avatar

being in China's back pocket is ok though?

Colleen's avatar

I don’t know that he is

DJS's avatar

getting a $250 million dollar loan from China means you’re in their back pocket

Colleen's avatar

Carney has 6.8 million in a blind trust in which every asset of his will be listed to the public within 60 days of him holding office . Poilievre would have you believe this is his. It was Brookfield who secured a $250 million loan- the place he worked, not him personally.

Franz Kafka's avatar

"The place he worked"? You mean, like, in the mail room?

Colleen's avatar

The level of intelligence in your replies, lacks facts, evidence, and anything, but calling me a liar. Even the premier, president, or Prime Minister has “a job “. All you’re doing is sharing an opinion, the lowest form of communication in my view.

DJS's avatar

so he wouldn’t be influenced by China in any way whatsoever to do their bidding? please

Colin Goodfellow's avatar

What empty sillynes this is. Not one piece of policy issue discussed just personality slander and smug incel talking points. There maybe reasons not to support Carney but this slag tripe has none.

My friend, I urge you to get counseling. You've tripped yourself up and fallen down a rabbit hole.

TL Philp's avatar

So let's review, Trudeau was “woke” … whatever the hell that MAGAt invented word means … Carney is a grumpy, rude, abusive banker and nothing more, and Poillievre is what? Canada's saviour? In what Canadian universe do you actually live, because your arguments in this piece are so off base that you should run not walk, to your nearest Canadian Mental Health Association office for a consultation. And do it now, my friend; the CMHA would be gutted in a heartbeat if Wee Pierre ever held the reins of power.

werpor's avatar

You must be educated! You are parroting the garbage you learned in school. Brains filled with bull shit!

DJS's avatar

I'd say PP will take Canada in the opposite direction of its current course and that would be a very welcome change.

TL Philp's avatar

I'd say you need a white cane.

DJS's avatar

not blind, but I’m awake to the systemic corruption all around and how Carnage would sellout Canada to China (who owns him)

TL Philp's avatar

Right, and Poillievre would sell us out, period. Look at his demeanor. Listen to his speeches. Cut and paste from Trump scripts and MAGA propaganda. Do you really suffer in Canada because of Liberal policies? How have you suffered? What policy do you disagree with most? Don't just tell me that Poillievre/Saviour, All Liberals/Satan. Give me one shred of evidence you have that Poillievre would ever be better for Canada.

werpor's avatar

Evidently you are not schooled in the history of economic decline. As a rule it leads to war and to increasing demagoguery — something with you are evidently most familiar.

DJS's avatar

Putting Canada first somehow equates to MAGA and that’s a bad thing? Taxes have gone up on everything with the Libs in power (carbon tax). Cost of living is through the roof. i could go on and on. PP will lower the tax burden and he’s not beholden to the WEF and Communist China. Unlike sellout Carnage

Just reading what he said about Brexit in your long article tells me your friend is an idiot

Paul's avatar

I think these posts are stunning. This is an IQ test. I am still waiting for evidence of Carney screwing up as Bank Governor. All I see is that he called people idiots. brexit was and still is a disaster. Now the pedophile comments. What a sad bunch you are.

Peter1's avatar

Simply put: if Carney is elected we are fooked.

Trish, lf you want to discuss politics, perhaps you could invite Canadian Journalist (G&M) Andrew Coyne on your show? I found this Hub interview quite educational especially the east/west divide.

VJ's avatar

Trish…. You are SPOT ON! No one wants this GLOBALIST NUTBAR as our PRIME MINISTER!

VJ's avatar

Yes, from the NWT!

Crazy that he’s not more GROUNDED with regular folks!

I see him as LOST!

Martin Willms's avatar

I think this post came up in my feed because I tend conservative on a lot of issues. I’m not committing one way or the other, but I’m kicking the tires and thinking of voting Liberal in the next election. I find the GLOBALIST NUTBAR kind of appealing.

I like that he seems happy to steal Conservative policies, but without the weird baggage of having to caucus with significant numbers of MAGA sympathizers. And you have to admit, as globalists go he’s done well for himself for a gent born in the NWT and raised in Edmonton.

werpor's avatar

Another fool exposing himself here. Why do you expect Mark Carney to do anything different than Justin Trudeau has done these past 10 years? After all Carney has been advising Trudeau for at least the last five years. Gadzooks!
