BIG TECH EXPOSED-NOW DO LEGACY MEDIA
Of course Biden team was influencing media bosses, too.
Matt Taibbi’s Hunter Biden Twitter thread is a defining moment in American history, exposing for all to see the corruption and deceit at the very heart of a failing political system and I include in that, legacy media. I covered the HBL story from day one and it has only become clearer that President Joe Biden was financially benefiting from his son’s overseas dealings in a manner that suggests influence peddling. And that the president lied about it for two years while being protected by the Big Dog corporate media and certain shady actors, including the FBI who manipulated Facebook and Twitter off the story.
At the behest of the Biden campaign and sometimes the DNC, Twitter refused to cover the HBL saga in 2020 when it broke in the New York Post. As a lifelong reporter I was gobsmacked when people who call themselves journalists defended their own non-coverage of the story with all manner of absurd excuses - from we don’t think it is a story (NPR) to the old canard, pushed by America’s compromised former spooks that the Post report was Russian disinformation. Perhaps, the most troubling aspect is that the FBI had access to the laptop for a year and would have likely determined it was legit. Even so and for reasons not yet known, the Agency convinced Big Tech to be on alert for a hacked story in October, paving the way for the HBL clampdown. And why did the FBI also stay quiet while their brethren in the national security community warned media off the story that the FBI very likely knew was authentic?
Elon Musk, by shining a spotlight on the Dems’ manipulations of information, has also exposed a wide swath of what Donald Trump called The Deep State. A curious person would asks themselves, given that the laptop is real — why would members of America’s intel community discredit the HBL story by signing off on a bogus analysis? A first year journalism student could have authenticated the laptop in a week and yet former members of America’s national security apparatus destroyed their own credibility for a compromised Democratic candidate. No one has yet answered this critical question. Will these shamed former spooks lose their security clearance for this blatant election interference?
Recently, the New York Times and CBS finally admitted the laptop and its contents are real but by then, Democrats had avoided disaster in the 2022 midterms. All of this — the business deals (with money to the Big Guy), plus Big Tech’s aggressive burying of the original story, represent the end of America’s elections having any credibility at all.
Corporate media’s mean-spirited and absurd attacks on Taibbi - just make it more obvious that the corruption of democracy by power elites is a real thing. There can no longer be any doubt.

Meanwhile, the recent midterms devolved into a shit show of not-credible results and not-allowed questions about the integrity of the voting itself. I’m trying to figure out the psyop at work here. It starts by making questioning the results the moral equivalent of pedophelia — an idea set up by the Democrats and their media allies before the polls even open. This despite that fact that kvetching about rigged elections has been a post-2016 Democratic hobby, lead by Hillary Clinton but not allowed by anyone else unless legacy media says so. If January 6th had been a Democratic party event — it would have been hailed as a sacred moment of protest and democracy. This is not a stretch given how the Democrats and legacy media hailed burning cities as stunning and brave civil disobedience.
All GOP candidates, including Kari Lake, who raised even a hint of skepticism about voting outcomes are swiftly branded election deniers, an epithet spit out by media hustlers all throughout the midterms campaign. These EDs join a list of narrative questioners, like anti-vaxxers, 9/11 Truthers and climate deniers, who are reduced to insignificant nothingness, dehumanized and dispatched from serious consideration for asking verboten questions.
Sadly - we will never know what actually happened in 2020 — beyond the chaos and recklessness of criminally sloppy mail-in ballot laws fully embraced by Democrats, hinky CCT videos of election workers and hundreds of other incidents both large and small that were never publicly adjudicated.
The dirty secret now of American democracy — mail-in ballots, broken voting machines, long lines and massive conflicts of interest (see Kari Lake /Katie Hobbs) is that everyone knows they are not secure and that they seem to be more insecure for Democrats, whose candidates thrive the more loosey goosey the rules. Add to the list, media and Big Tech collaborating on behalf of the Democrat party and you have Soviet-level “elections” that exist only as performative rituals with the citizens playing along — despite already knowing the outcome in a one-party state. Communist party candidates were uncontested but most people voted anyway as a show of support for the system.
There was no opposition in the USSR. The Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) was the only legitimate political force in the country. All citizens were expected to support it and any opposition to the party line was regarded as a sign of untrustworthy dissent.
A country not in the throes of destroying itself wouldn’t permit the kind of voting that favours one side over the other. Democrats are said to vote early and by mail — Republicans on the day of and in-person. No one has ever explained why this is or examined how dangerous it is to have late dumps of Democrat mail-in votes apparently wipe out GOP gains. If there is no cheating advantage here — then why aren’t Democratic politicians arguing for changes that would make Americans less suspicious and tribal on election day? Virtually no country in the world, including Canada, allows wild west mail-in ballots on the scale the US does.
What DC insiders call lawfare, with help from legacy media, puts a stop to all objective inquiry about the disaster that was 2020. Anyone who raised questions about the fairness of it was whacked by an enormous lawsuit, some of them lead by Dominion, the voting machines company.
Sydney Powell, by all accounts a decent lawyer, overplayed her hand and may lose her law license. Rudy Giuliani who was way past his prime and perhaps drinking heavily is also being sued. Lawyer Lin Wood, was seen by some as a kind of double agent — that’s how bizarre it got. Fox News is facing a massive lawsuit and Mike Lindell — the My Pillow Guy who puts his money where is mouth is, was nearly brought to his knees, for patriotically, in my view, questioning the outcome. With all of this heavyweight legal and commercial pushback — most people just got scared and stopped asking. I’m sure that was the plan.
With the Twitter Biden-Laptop dump that wound is wide open. Only naive fools believe there is no cheating in American elections — especially now that Democrats, like historian Michael Beschloss are openly saying a Republican win means the end of Democracy and worse that Conservatives will kill your children.
On that basis, all Good Americans and Dem true believers have an obligation to cheat — to save the country and make sure their families aren’t murdered by marauding gangs of flabby old white men in Brooks Brothers suits.
And as the American experiment continues to crumble, the tech bros and media simps responsible for her demise can feel secure that with lies, propaganda and corrupt news rooms, they’ve turned their country into one giant safe space. Sadly, they are too stricken by ideology to see that the danger they fear is actually wrought by themselves.
