I have written a “poem” that is totally in tune with what you wrote, and, encouraged by your letter, will send it to our local community paper for publication in February 2023. My wife and I went to Parliament Hill every day to breathe the fresh air of the true North which was fouled elsewhere by fear and official disinformation.

Thank you Trish. As my adolescent grandchildren are wont to say: This got me right in the feels. Iwill be sharing it.

Thank you for sharing your experience of this monumental event. Citizens who have resisted the coercive propaganda are emerging, connecting, voicing our feelings of isolation over the last two years. Thank you for helping us feel, we are not alone.

Trudeau runs the world over in his jet...doing as he will...spending millions of taxpayers $$$... being a completely uneducated jackass pretending to defend democracy and human rights.

He is a petty, despicable moronic tyrant who deserves nothing less than a life sentence in a damp prison cell. He is the most pompous...selfish, narcicistic individual to ever hold office in this country. Yet...Canadians will vote for him. Why? Two reasons. He is a Liberal...and he is a Trudeau. How utterly more pathetic can it get than that?

His only competition are two equally insane tyrants in Australia, Gunner and Andrews. WEF global goons. They can all go to hell.

A wonderful letter that provides perspectives from a Canadian that was truly neutral upon arriving at Wellington street, no preconceived ideas or judgement of the truckers character or intentions, only wanting to understand based on direct observations. The media in Canada has failed Canadians to a degree so great it cannot be overstated. This is what happens when the government financially, or otherwise, controls our institutions. I hope we can all agree that we need non-biased, independent journalism and institutions for democracy to survive even if we do not always agree with their reporting or decisions.

Amazing and well written about 'real' life at the convoy protest last winter. I fully agree with him. I had the honour of being there over 2 weekends and I have never been prouder as a Canadian. Unfortunately, the media is no longer about telling the facts or both sides to anything. :(

I'm stricken with a deep, loss-of-innocence grief when I think that this was Canada in the "before" times:

https://youtu.be/upsZZ2s3xv8

and this, among other tragic and regrettable developments, is Canada now:

https://horizons.gc.ca/en/2022/05/31/biodigital-today-and-tomorrow/

https://horizons.gc.ca/en/2020/02/11/exploring-biodigital-convergence/

And that most Canadians don't even notice. They have for the most part become, for want of a better term, "Epsilon semi-morons".

I am and have been for the last almost six weeks observing online the Public Order Emergency Commission Inquiry being held in Ottawa. If only this piece could be presented here. It is eloquent, and expresses so well what needs to be heard by as many Canadians as possible, and especially by the members of the Commission, who will be presenting their findings to the government. The division between who gets to decide what is and is not disinformation and misinformation has me extremely concerned right now near the end of this proceeding.

Another great essay on this topic was penned by an Ottawa resident living in a Kent Street apartment overlooking the assembled convoy. David Maybury's "A Night with the Untouchables" tells a story similar to Colin McAdam’s.

I recently heard Mr Maybury interviewed by a BC YouTuber, and also looked at some of his other essays on his "Reformed Physicist" website. He would make a very interesting guest on a future episode of your TWIC podcast.

I transcribed it when you first read it on your podcast and sent it to people I know who think the Convoy got what they deserved who think I am a crazy person because I supported and continue to support the Convoy. Unfortunately, it had little impact on them, some people will stick to their guns and love of Trudeau no matter what, it would seem. It astounds me that people don't seem concerned about the freezing of bank accounts. Are they so stupid or arrogant that they think they might never be the victims if they disagree with or embarrass a sitting government. In Wednesday Adam's words, they should be afraid, very afraid.

Those who agreed with the government freezing bank accounts CAN’T see that it could be them next time and fight harder to believe in #TrudeauTheTyrant despite his lies and hypocrisy. They will not see his “performance” at the POEC as anything but the truth and will be begging for more. And the mob wonders how the Germans elected Hitler. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The bank account freezing really bothered and angered me at the same time. I still find it difficult to believe that anybody would think it was okay to do that to ordinary Canadian citizens. They weren't terrorists or criminals. Those who thought it was okay, have a kind of hubris, I think, believing the government would never do that to them. Oh have naive they are.

If he posted this on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram it likely would have been deleted because, "community standards". I think he stated what millions of Canadians felt. It brought tears. We have an appallingly obtuse sycophant for a PM and none of our elected reps is worth the cost of their underpants.
