Allegations of trudeaus plane caught with cocaine in India. Any credible media journalists going to hop on a plane to India to find airport personnel who will verify the drug sniffing dogs found the cocaine. Are RCMP on their way to India to investigate.

Funny that now the Polish government is talking about asking to extradite the 98 yr old nazi collabotor war veteran. Can those who hid this war criminal in Canada be extradited to the Hague? That would clear out the House of Commons. I think we have a picture of those who approved of this nazi war criminal. Karin Gould appears in the picture. What a scandal. Will Gould be resigning or forced to? Such weaklings who let Trudeau decide to throw them under the bus.

I also think the murder of the Sikk in Canada tthat Trudeau blamed on India is to detract from the cocaine seizure on his plane. To send a message to India. Should be interesting if more people come forward to confirm the allegations of the cocaine.

It appears our PM has not done his history.. The scammer Zelenskyy gets Trudeau and the Canadian Parliament to give an ovation to a 98 yesr old ukramian who fought for the nazis against Russia. If anyome cares to research thats why mamy Ukranians joined the nazi regime. They wanted to get rid of Russia so they decided to commit war crimes. That makes it ok. Wow the level of stupidity is astounding. The brigade this,98 yr old Ukranian veteran was in was labelled a criminal organization responsible for a reign of terror including massive extermination camps.

We have ignorant fools running our country. The nazi mentality of giving a nazi collaborator a standing ovation is beyond laughable. Even the lunatic Nili Kaplan Myrth is screamimg about this so I think we found one thing to agree with her.

I think the scams of Zelenskyy embarassing the world are prominent now So where is the $650 million going to. To modern day nazi Germany?

Trudeau and Singh are like Germany in the World War. They made alliances.

So are we at war in Canada that we make alliances as I believe a competition law has been done with the grocery storex to stop them from analgamating into a bigger monopoly. The theatre of Trudeau calling all grocery store CEOs to drop prices was all for show.

If we have laws to stop amalgamating shouldnt that be for political parties making policy and where they cover up each others corruption by voting NO to investigation of themselves.

Trish,

I don't know where else to write this regarding your latest podcast, so I'll comment here.

I absolutely, 100 percent, agree w you on the Russel Brand allegations. It's not right that these people can come forward now, and especially making these accusations from the shadows! How can you defend yourself from unknown accusers??

Brand wrote a book about his addictions for heaven's sake! It's all out there...

In my opinion it's just a smear campaign; another censorship blackmail brought to you by the seething extreme left ...although worse, he's being demonitised by YouTube, and made out to be guilty by his own government!

You are right, these people will stop at nothing...what drives that kind of mindset??

At some point in time, the taxi industry in Calgary grew pompous and selective in which rides they deemed "worthy", leaving people stranded all over the City. It had become a real issue.

However, that was eliminated by the introduction of competition into their market. If the taxi industry wants to know why their potential customers choose their competitors, they should take a good long look in the mirror.

Now they're coming for our babies - that's if any of you poor injected ladies are not now STERILE from their poisons?

It sounds like 'Trusting THEIR SCIENCE' is just another way of justifying Fauci's Gain of Function Virus maximisation program?

Soon after the magically speedy injections (they call Vaccines) appeared on the market some of us proud Conspiracy Theorists stated the Cellular 5G technology might be a trigger to destroy even more humans than have been terminated by the DEADLY injections they call VACCINES!

Under powerful magnification, we saw evidence of strange activity in VAXXED blood samples where a mobile phone being used in proximity of the magnified blood samples showed 'illumination' of unrealistic regular-shaped materials that continued to be 'active' for several minutes. So, even though we were being sceptical about this potential, it seems this could be part of the Master Plan to depopulate the planet!

So, it seems that Marburg might be one of the vax additives that was secreted into vaxxed humans along with Graphene Oxide being used as an activating agent. I feel there will be other deadly illnesses included within the deadly vax cocktails that have been injected with NO LIABILITY for the murderers who designed the plot!

And these DEADLY Covid injections (they pass off as VACCINES) are still distributed with NO LIABILITY!

I wish I was wrong but it seems that most of our bizarre suspicions may have been accurate!

That is the key point with Uber that the politicians failed to get, Uber is a ride share, in other words, it should have been used by people who were making a trip to the city for work to offer someone a lift and "Share" the ride and cost. Instead it was used by politicians and Uber to replace taxis with a "gig" economy that predominantly uses immigrants as its labor source. In Australia, it enabled the state government to devalue taxi licences by nearly seventy percent. Making it almost worthless but owners still have to repay the original purchase price to the thieving government. An absolute dog act. I refuse to use a ride share despite my workplace mandating we should use the cheapest option, my response when chipped for not doing it. Security and safety. I don't know the car is fully serviced, fully roadworthy and I know for a fact the drivers are not subject to the same background checks confirming they have no criminal record. With Taxis I do.

My Toronto cab experiences have not been nearly as enjoyable as those Trish recalls. My personal anecdotes left me with none of the nostalgia she feels. Still, each of us laments the disappearance of some societal aspect which did form part of our own personal story.

I miss the vanishing, older Italian gentlemen who ran traditional barber shops. A quality haircut, fairly priced, in a comfortable environment with eclectic conversations, is increasingly hard to find.

Thanks for your NCI coverage. Fantastic Inquiry. Hopefully it stops these shots and mask mandates in the future. DR Kieran Moore of Ontario is stuck. Thats great because as Ches Crosbie states you need to apply pressure to the government 24 7 to make them back down. The truckers protest did that to the provincial premiers. The lunatic Trudeau refused until forced to. The vaccine travel mandates lawsuit helped do that.

I hate to be the contrarian guy in the comments after such a well-intentioned and nostalgic piece, but I will say here that I absolutely love Uber. Affordable, clean cabs that show up when they say they will, never take out-of-towners on a suspiciously circuitous route, are available at late hours, and don't all disappear on days with rainy weather/important events. I left an important item under the seat in an Uber once - I had it back within an hour.

Not all change is bad.

We've become the "ME" generation. Developing the same ethic and empathy as the sociopaths that run our societies. None of the laptop classes cared when the working class jobs were exported or outsourced. Well laptopers, the AI is coming for you, see how you like it. The Western Rentier extraction classes will be leeching even more off the working classes at home as the rest of the world decides they don't want to be exploited any more and they turf their parasitic comprador Quisling courtiers. We're gonna need to work for our supper, restructure our whole economy/society. Can we do it? I'm not hopeful, too many entitled and too few willing or able to work. They are credentialed though and they virtue signal it ad nauseum.

Robert. I use GPT-4 nearly every day. It is a very useful tool. I worked as an IT professional from 1977 to 2018 and don’t share your fears about AI. It will be the productivity tool that will raise the quality and standard of living that will benefit everyone who embraces it. The fear-mongering about AI is not warranted IMHO.

Except your oblivious to the covert AI which you know nothing about. Have you checked out Horizons Policy ,Canada and the new technology on the horizon ? The moral ethical annd privacy issues are huge. Useful tools in themselves are great. Its whats lurking in the shadows thats not.

When you look at the moral and ethical issues of vaccine passports which would seem as simply a tool to pretend your healthy free of a perceived virus and the digital ID on the horizon tied to vaccines as well thats when the nefarious part of AI manifests itself. When fraud is added into the equation for these vaccines which exposes the absurbidty of vaccine passports then a whole new ball game starts. When rule of law is shredded to carry on the fraud then the moral ethical and legal ramnifications come to light. When AI can be manipulated then we also create problems.

Look at the reasoning behind vaccine passports using the yellow fever vaccine. Ignorant people revealed they dont research.. The yellow fever vaccine took many years and failures to finally get one they use today. The first ones caused massive health implications.

These MRNA vaccines are experimental. They have caused massive risk.. Then how can you use vaccine passports for them. Common sense says no. You cant force experiments on people then restrict their movement or livelihood if they refuse to be part of the experiment.

GPT-4 did it not bring in the ideologies being pushed today. It was asked what are the attributes of a black person. It proceeds to list them. Then the question is asked what are the attributes of a white person. It states cant answer that as that would be racist to that effect. Excuse me both black and white people are humans with attributes. Both black and white people can be good or evil. The manipulation of AI on display. So what other manipulations are on the horizon?

The new technologies are laden with moral ethical and legal issues. So will they subvert the rule of law and human rights in order to experiment using these new technologies. It has been asked will you write new laws for this new technology. Or perhaps destroy fundamental human rights declarations and medical ethics to push these new technologies. We just saw iit with mask mandates and vaccine mandates,,

Thanks for your comments Tom. You are 100% correct that AI can be weaponized on the wrong hands. The AI tech is not “evil” in and of itself. It's the ppl who apply it for malevolent purposes that are the problem.

There is no shortage of “bad actors” on the Stage of Humanity. There are many “good actors too”.

By this time next year, my ebook on Cronyism will be available. I hope you read it. It will explain our current socio-economic reality in a simple way so that citizens will understand Cronyism in its three primary manifestations - Crony Capitalism, Crony Socialism and Crony Statism. It will describe the “honey pot” that fuels political and economic power. It will explain why the only Green Kryptonite that the most powerful and wealthy people fear is the systematic emptying of the “honey pot”. This will ultimately neuter the #1 problem that exists in Canada (and the West) : too much government!

I am always pleased to meet someone like you who thinks critically and does so with passion and conviction. Cheers brother!

Hi Trish,

As a long time Libertarian, I believe in Freedom of Informed Choice for every citizen (Remember “informed consent” for the jab?) Accordingly, I oppose monopolies in all of their forms, especially government monopolies and government-protected monopolies like labour unions in the public sector. The old time taxi business was also a government—protected monopoly business, albeit it had some degree of competition between taxi operators.

When Uber came along, I saw it as a way to provide customers with another travel option. It also enabled some people to enter the Uber service as a part-time driver to generate some additional income. In the beginning, citizens were wary of the Uber service but over time, it established itself as a viable option and eventually the preferred option for most ppl.

Competition is healthy. If cars did not come along, Torontonians would still travel by horse and buggy. Nostalgia is a feeling that you can enjoy concerning the “good old days” of taxis everywhere because you are old enough to remember it. There is a large swath of citizens who have only known Uber.

The Digital Economy makes innovations like Uber possible. Much more change is coming which will likely inspire your to add more content to your nostalgic trips down ‘memory lane’. Get ready, it's going to be a bumpy ride - one that will make your recent train trip feel like floating in a hang glider.

Regards

Gene

Convince over quality debate. I suppose most people must be okay with that. Either they don't know any better or we all value things and people even less. We live in such a disposable culture. I wonder if an Uber driver is able to make a middle class income like the taxi drivers? Or do the tech elites Bezo like Amazon heads take the lion's share.

We hear that the grocery stores are forbidden to amalgamate into bigger conglomerates. Thats the way to lower prices. All theatre I hear summoning the grocery CEO's. Therefore here is a question for thinkers.

Trudeau and Singh signed an agreement. An alliance.. just like Germany did in the World War. So if Trudeau stops the grocery stores from amalgamating then how come political parties can have an alliance. Will be waiting for Trudeau to answer that one. The grocery store execs might like to ask it.

Biggest reason for no to poltical alliance for countries making policy is obvious bias and will result in the cover up their corruption and voting NO all the time to inquiries about their corruption that enriches them. They scratch each others back. After we just saw the ovation for a 98 yr old nazi collaborator by that scam artist Zelenskyy and Trudeau and our Parliament can you believe the level of stupidity that resonates from our leaders in an alliance especially considering this 98 yr old veteran was in a terrorizing SS nazi criminal organization that was connected to extermination camps.. Bravo to the ignorant as the Ukranians joined the nazis to get rid of the russians but in doing so committed war crimes. Does that make sense? No excuse for war crimes. I guess Zelenskyy thinks thats ok. So does our leaders.

There are a few small independently owned food markets that have significantly lower prices than sobeys and lawblaws in my municipality. I worry the risk of grocery chain monopoly is our eventual lack of choice and therefore power.

As for politics. What an absolute embarrassment!!!! Canada is an international joke because of the incompetence of our government. How Horrifying :(

Gene the contrarian captures my intuition and thoughts on this piece. This is the first thing I have ever read by Trish Wood and I found it interesting and informative but I mildly disagree with our author.

The part about Toronto media disparaging taxi drivers and lauding the noble Uber driver was particularly to my liking: contrarian is in my nature.

That said, I paid for a founding member subscription in order to support the documentary about the trucker convoy .

I learned of Trish Wood from CJ Hopkins’ endorsement.

I also live in Toronto.

I despise trudeau and hope our author gives him a good comeuppance.
