I was a young reporter for the CKPR Television station in Thunder Bay and I was scheduled to interview upon his arrival in the city. I still remember the sad news that he'd had to end his run before he reached our city because his cancer had returned. Was I disappointed I didn't get to interview this young man who inspired a nation? Of course, but I was more devastated by the news that his cancer had returned. I remember hearing on the radio he had died and then the later request the Canadians honk their horns in unison on Canada in his memory. I did so. God bless him.
I will be trucking by the Terry Fox later this evening and every time I do I can help but think wow he ran all the way here! Just coming home from a B.C. run and one can’t help but pray “God keep this land glorious and free” as I get the pleasure of being paid to see it from coast to coast
Thanks to all the Canadians who stood up for the truth and who are still standing
Trish, you must read this. It will explain the strategy currently being used to Islamify France in particular but I expect the same or similar strategy is in effect everywhere.
Well after listening to the “Collapse Life” video I guess we should call you Patricadamus because you were pretty accurate in your predictions for Canada, including losing Alberta which seems a like a distinct possibility.
Funny how politics, not just in Canada but all over the western world has become weaponized to divide people and it all started with covid.
I don’t know what made covid such a divisive thing, maybe it was fear or perhaps “something” physically changed peoples cognitive functions but that division remains unchanged and underlying everything we do or don’t do which includes avoiding topics at the dinner table.
This may sound a little weird but it is as if there was a parasite that took hold of the reasoning centre of people’s brains and every-time it feels threatened it lashes out……like an old Star Trek episode where critical thinking would kill the parasite
Anyways Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 as we will surely be inundated with news of how (and the way it will be reported will be key) how the “Trump administration will not be renewing USMCA” talk of Carney not negotiating will not be tolerated in our performative democracy🤔
I like her as well , Collapse Life does a great job 😊 Happy Canada Day……my wife and I are going down to see The Paperboys play for Canada Day here in Maple Ridge BC 🇨🇦
I stopped celebrating Canada Day in 2016 when the majority of Canadian voters chose Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister. As a professional recruiter for 36 years who has reviewed the resumes of countless job candidates against the posted job requirements, it was pathetic that so many Canadians chose a man with nice hair, fancy socks and a famous last name. He was unqualified for any position with responsibility, let alone Prime Minister.
I have no pride in the Canadian people who could make such shallow decisions with serious repercussions to this nation and all of its businesses and inhabitants.
The Canadian flag is a symbol of Canadian authoritarianism chosen by Liberal, NDP and Green voters.
The national anthem is a propagandistic lie that we are encouraged to sing standing at attention to honour the myth that we are united, strong and free.
You can put lipstick on a pig, but it can’t hide the fact that it is still a pig.
There is nothing Happy about Canada Day. Yes, we have had our heroes, but these were rare individuals who represented a higher purpose. However, collectively we continue to fail, and this will continue as long as we honour our corrupt political and institutional elites.
Although I am an American, never forget that you are also "one of the best of us." You have been a beacon of light "in the face of tyranny for the whole world to see."
I am forever grateful for your work that has continued to encourage me in my neck of the woods in rural Texas.
I love to hear from people outside of the country and Texas is a favourite. I dated a lawyer from Dallas who had a country house near -- Brownsville? -- does that make sense? I was single and flying pretty high. We had a lot of fun in the local honky-tonks. Dancing to Mis Patsy Cline. Have a great day.
I like the idea of celebrating Canadians who have gone above and beyond, vs. Canada which has become a grotesque caricature of its former self. James Topp also walked across Canada, and he started at the Terry Fox memorial - another hero. Also, the doctors who spoke up and out, some who I credit with saving my family from the mRNA shots and despair, and who paid a dear price for doing so: Dr. Patrick Phillips, Dr, Mark Trozzi, Dr. Julie Ponesse, Dr. Byram Bridle, Dr. Francis Christian, and Dr. Chris Shoemaker to name a few of the heroes and heroines. Thank you.
Happy Canada Day, Trish. Thank you for the memories. I was part of a fund raising effort for Terry Fox in Vancouver way back then. I got to meet him briefly. An extraordinary person.
I look forward to listening to your podcast with Zahara of Collapse Life. I have listened to many of her shows in the last couple years.

Well said, Trish.
I weep for the Canada that you grew up in. It must have been a special place, and absolutely heartwrenching to see what's become of it since.

The way things are being governed make one sad!
God bless!

Canada needs a:
“ Incorrupt PM “
Where do we find one..?
From my research.
Cusma is legally in effect until 2036.
Any thoughts on it.
Most Canadians do not know this..?
I will never forgive and cannot forget those in charge during COVID-19 times.
Canada died for me in 2020, probably before. I'm saying Happy Alberta Day!
❤️

For some reason, I found that lovely lady very easy to talk to. She got the best of me. Happy Canada Day.

You're not wrong.
Yes. Our cottage on the lake near Guelph line. He ran the lakeshore to Toronto, if I’m remembering properly.
Oh, Ben. What a memory.
Dear Trish,

All of the above. I tend not to think to hard about COVID these days. I will again. But these are all wonderful humans and James Topp is a treasure.
Happy Canada Day Trish. You're one of the good ones for sure. I too have come to think of Terry Fox as one of the legendary ones.
That dear boy. I hope young people in this country are taught about his legend in schools.
Happy Canada Day, Trish. Thank you for the memories. I was part of a fund raising effort for Terry Fox in Vancouver way back then. I got to meet him briefly. An extraordinary person.

Lucky you getting to meet this legend.
