Oh boy - I loved this show! I wanted to point something out regarding the question you put to John Carpay regarding whether this ruling might provide some support for anyone who might wish to sue their bank for freezing their accounts. John's opinion, which could be absolutely correct, was that the banks would declare they had no choice because the action was ordered by the government. Aside from the obvious parallels between the excuses posited by those who were tried in Nuremberg and any Canadian bank officials who try THAT old canard, there is one thing potential plaintiffs might keep in mind. The Emergencies Act, if I recall correctly (and I am quite willing to be corrected here) ALSO ordered insurance companies and investment companies to cancel coverages and accounts. None of them complied, while the banks went in whole hog, and in fact TD jumped the gun and started freezing bank accounts the day before the order was activated. If my memory is correct, it was TD's big wigs who in the end begged the government to lift the order because there was a very well deserved run on their banks as frightened customers pulled their money out. Again, any lawsuit is risky, but it seems to me that 2/3rds of the financial sector refused to follow the orders, so the question is why did the banks do it? Doesn't seem to me that the insurance/investment firms had any governmental repercussions for not following the banks.

There doesn't seem to be much discussion anywhere, including here, in terms of what this Federal Court ruling might do for the Coutts Four if anything. There doesn't seem to be much in the judgement about the government making the claim that this 'dangerous' situation in Coutts with these four men plotting to kill cops was the catalyst to invoke the Act. Any thoughts on this at all?

This makes me so happy, and it does give me some hope that our country can get it feet under it again. I am cautiously optimistic but it’s going to take a lot more to restore my faith in our institutions and the pride I used to have in my country. The propaganda about the Freedom Convoy and the invocation of the Emergency Act shattered my trust in things and standards that I thought were solid and inviolable and I will never forget how horrified I was when I heard the news that day.

Rule of law is just another Scam to control the masses. Laws are literally written for and often by the lobbyists of the corporation's and ruling classes. Julian Assange is still rotting in Belmarsh prison and Dubya is giving "leadership courses"; true story. That's when he isn't painting. Democracy is nothing more than Manufacturing consent; so much cheaper and more effective than police and military but of course they can pull off the velvet gloves of law for the brutality of the police and military, the leadership of which is always the enemy of the people. This is a another make work program for the legal industrial complexes. The RCMP were such egregious criminals "remember the Barn burning etc." they changed the name to CSIS but it's the same people with the same masters and attitudes only now they work out of the largest most expensive government building in the country. They also farm out work to the other four eyes and no doubt others. Their "agent provocateurs" are everywhere and there's no doubt in my mind that they fabricated the evidence on the Canadian's still rotting in jail out west. Literally hundreds of agent provocateurs were on the scene in DC at the "unarmed insurrection" where hundreds are rotting in jail, mostly for nothing. Almost 100 charges on the ex POTUS, ALL BS. YOU have more real and effective democracy in China and much higher home ownership as the government works to improve the lives of the Chinese people. We used to do that here. Israel is showing the real face of western liberal democracy when it's rightly challenged by the prisoners of the world's largest open air prison and supplier of cheap labor. A long rant, Yes but unfortunately true. The ruling classes are living like royalty, the MPC are doing well and the lumpenproletariat plebes are producing the wealth they don't get their share of as usual and no doubt wasting it on online gambling and lottery tickets. We can and should be better! Anyone who still believes that things will substantially improve when we turf out the Grits and replace them with the Tories is disconnected from reality and history and still believes "the crap they learned in highschool"!
