Goliath is a unified monster looking to divide and conquer. Our gov't has been using these strategies, successfully for years to destroy many progressive anti-gov't organizations. I would be interested in hearing from some of the regular folks who did not go along to get along with the Covid propaganda that was flooding populations, especially in Canada. Canadians can be very compliant, something I really noticed when I had an opportunity to live in the U.S. where people are not so "agreeable". When did you realize that this whole thing was hinky, and what led you to such a conclusion? Personally, I just happened to have been studying information from Dr. Zach Bush regarding the nature, and necessity, of viruses. When Covid started erupting I was already well prepared to not fear a virus and I was quite amazed at governments shutting down society for a virus. I also assumed, wrongly as it turns out, that taking a vaccine (especially one made via novel technology) would be quite naturally a choice that individuals could make and I never had any intention of taking what I viewed to be a completely experimental injection. Moreover, I found 2 studies by John Ioannidis on the CDC website in March and April of 2020 that provided IFRs for the illness and became aware in February 2021 that breakthroughs were already occurring in vaccinated people. My husband and I reviewed whatever information we could find on the B.C. Government's Covid "dashboards" and determined that we were at little risk even though we were both over 65 at the time. Neither of us had any comorbidities and both of kept an eye on our blood results to determine where we might need to pump up our immune system. We also found Dr. Peter McCullough pretty quickly and followed his suggested protocols. So we felt we were doing everything we could. We did pay a price for rejecting vaccines at the time - we couldn't travel to my sister-in-law's funeral; my husband had to say goodbye to his mother on the phone; we lost some friends who couldn't understand our position; and we experienced a degree of marginalization we had never experienced before. At the same time, we got to spend a lot of time together and embarked upon a spiritual journey that I don't think would have happened in the absence of Covid. I also saw very quickly who would "hide us in the attic" and who would have turned us in. It was a very instructive time.

By my saying this, it does not mean there is no culpability, malpractice or malfeasance involved. It’s just that your misunderstanding is flawed and undermines your thesis.
Watch the film Downfall -- it lays out pretty clearly the problem was the MCAS and Boeing lying about the pilots not needing training. What did I get wrong? Love to know more.
Devil in the details: Am very aware of and watched Downfall. There were two catastrophic incidences, not 3, that resulted in immediate grounding of the type. Both were “Third World” airlines (Lion Air of Indonesia and Ethiopian) in fast growing markets and with pilots of little prior flight time and early experience in a Boeing fight deck. The major operators in the US knew by depth of experience in “manual reversion” (pilot in command) that when disparate inputs were detected, to disable and assume manual control. Used to fly-by-wire, the pilots in those two aircraft were not so aware and so not prepossessed or poised to take that initiative. They only needed to throw the switch that would disable MCAS to take control. So, on the score of training, it is absolutely true that “compromises” were made on transition training to accommodate the airlines’ drive to reduce the training hours. The US domestics drove it. Boeing complied. The absence in foresight to assure there was redundancy (dual systems into MCAS) was indeed discounted as a cost containment consideration (making a 2nd system an option) that in pre-merger Boeing would likely never have got through the safety reviews. Again, the vast majority of the market knew the precedence.
Regulatory capture? Not so sure it was that simple. Clearly by the merger, Boeing culture of engineering prowess and integrity was compromised by the very culture that killed Douglas Aircraft. I suspect, but cannot confirm, that the omission was not likely purposefully done. The vast majority of operators were US domestics (DAL, AAL, ASA, SWA). All operators in this set had operating knowledge, so differences training was to be minimal. I further suspect that it was a detail that was “taken for granted”, not overtly hidden. All experienced 737 drivers I have talked to acknowledge the procedure to immediately disable the MCAS when the signs of runaway appear.

Just listened to this podcast, and it really resonated with me on many points. One of the points that resonated the most was how you drew a contrast between urban and rural. I grew up in a rural setting both on a farm and later in the small town of Dorchester Ontario. My first house was in the city of London where my wife and I lived for 12 years. For the last 11 years we have lived in Springfield, a very small agriculture community. I have had to disassociate with many of my friends and family who live in urban areas as they were too afraid to be anywhere near people like me who didn't fear covid. Another point made was about technical people vs the laptop class. I work in the trades and can tell you with certainty the level of your education absolutely coincides with how quickly you bought into the propaganda from the MSM. All the individuals I worked with that were college or University educated (mostly engineers) refused to work in person and demanded to work remotely too avoid personal contact. The tradesmen like myself scoffed at the protocols and for the most part resisted the masking and distancing measures put in place. I personally hit a very low point just before the Freedom Convoy since I refused to comply, my job was at risk along with not being able to do anything outside of our house besides work, I felt like a caged animal and according to the media that was how I should be treated. The Freedom Convoy brought hope yet I feel that hope slipping away. I will be ordering this book as it really intregues me and can't wait to read it.
P.S. Early on in 2020 one of my main sources of info was the Highwire, Del Bigtree and his team were a wonderful source of info, when real information was very difficult to access.

I very much enjoyed your discussion this week with the Covid dissenters and how we deal this the lingering malaise/trepidation. This solution is simple enough…value honesty and respect…implementation is obviously more difficult.
Anyhow, what I was more interested in was your brief discussion on Russia and NATO’s latests moves. I have been following this rather closely and the NATO exercises, presumptively in the border territories, serve two functions. 1) It places military equipment in a region, which could passively slip across the border to support West Ukraine (this is an old but good trick). 2) It sends a signal to Russia not to go too far in its territorial ambitions which I suspect will become more evident in Spring. There are consistent reports of Russia amassing a 400-500 K army behind the conflict lines in preparation for a spring offensive.
I have been following Russian foreign ministry statements fairly closely. First and foremost, they simply don’t trust the west and that means whatever plan they have, they are all in until they are finished. That plan seems to include: 1)annexing all lands east of the Depre (?) river and all territories around the Black Sea (maybe 30% of Urkraine). 2) demilitarizing and politically neutralizing the rest of the Ukraine, except perhaps the far west which is culturally distinct and more aligned with Europe. By controlling Black Sea access, Russia will maintain a political/economic hold on a neutral Ukrainian state.
Russia doesn’t have broader territorial ambitions and I don’t think they see NATO as a serious long term military threat to themselves. Why? Because fighting a war with Russia is a long drawn out affair (some call their approach “aggressive attrition”). NATO isn’t built for this type of war as we are learning. The Western approach is based around rapid, highly technical, engagements. So hit your opponents fast and hard. The main weakness with this approach is its massive expense and weapons can’t be replenished quickly. This just won’t work on a country as large as Russia.
It’s hard for me to rationalize what the west is trying to accomplish geopolitically. The Biden administration seems to have no coherent strategy and frankly I could envision a few years a Europe that is more economically dependent on Russia than the U.S. I should point out there is a strain of thought as expounded by John Bolton, that the Ukraine war is designed to weaken the European Union and make it an improvised vassal state of the U.S. Boy with friends like this……

I personally hit a very low point just before the Freedom Convoy since I refused to comply, my job was at risk along with not being able to do anything outside of our house besides work, I felt like a caged animal and according to the media that was how I should be treated. The Freedom Convoy brought hope yet I feel that hope slipping away. I will be ordering this book as it really intregues me and can't wait to read it.
P.S. Early on in 2020 one of my main sources of info was the Highwire, Del Bigtree and his team were a wonderful source of info, when real information was very difficult to access.

Hi Trish,
I very much enjoyed your discussion this week with the Covid dissenters and how we deal this the lingering malaise/trepidation. This solution is simple enough…value honesty and respect…implementation is obviously more difficult.
Anyhow, what I was more interested in was your brief discussion on Russia and NATO’s latests moves. I have been following this rather closely and the NATO exercises, presumptively in the border territories, serve two functions. 1) It places military equipment in a region, which could passively slip across the border to support West Ukraine (this is an old but good trick). 2) It sends a signal to Russia not to go too far in its territorial ambitions which I suspect will become more evident in Spring. There are consistent reports of Russia amassing a 400-500 K army behind the conflict lines in preparation for a spring offensive.
I have been following Russian foreign ministry statements fairly closely. First and foremost, they simply don’t trust the west and that means whatever plan they have, they are all in until they are finished. That plan seems to include: 1)annexing all lands east of the Depre (?) river and all territories around the Black Sea (maybe 30% of Urkraine). 2) demilitarizing and politically neutralizing the rest of the Ukraine, except perhaps the far west which is culturally distinct and more aligned with Europe. By controlling Black Sea access, Russia will maintain a political/economic hold on a neutral Ukrainian state.
Russia doesn’t have broader territorial ambitions and I don’t think they see NATO as a serious long term military threat to themselves. Why? Because fighting a war with Russia is a long drawn out affair (some call their approach “aggressive attrition”). NATO isn’t built for this type of war as we are learning. The Western approach is based around rapid, highly technical, engagements. So hit your opponents fast and hard. The main weakness with this approach is its massive expense and weapons can’t be replenished quickly. This just won’t work on a country as large as Russia.
It’s hard for me to rationalize what the west is trying to accomplish geopolitically. The Biden administration seems to have no coherent strategy and frankly I could envision a few years a Europe that is more economically dependent on Russia than the U.S. I should point out there is a strain of thought as expounded by John Bolton, that the Ukraine war is designed to weaken the European Union and make it an improvised vassal state of the U.S. Boy with friends like this……
Anyways just a few thoughts. Hope all is well in TO.
