Two and a half years later, the memories are still primal and clear! I’ve never been the type to get teary-eyed about much. That said, from January 22 when we rolled out all the way to March 13 when I dropped Tamara and Dwayne off in Medicine Hat, I had to pack around a package of Kleenex because the emotions were so intense.
Again, two and a half years later… I hear at least one reference - usually several through the day - about our demonstration! I’ve heard it touted as Canada’s single most effective protest of all time! I’ve personally referenced it as a Cultural Revolution! It has by far surpassed any and all anticipated impact - NEVER in our wildest dreams could any of us have expected our little tour to Ottawa to have blown-up in such an incredible and amazingly beautiful atmosphere of peace love and happiness!!
I still think of all the people I met along the way and I fight back the eyeball sweat… usually unsuccessfully! It changed my life in so many different ways good and bad…
