The moral position for this conflict, just like the Ukrainian debacle, is completely obvious when someone examines facts outside of the mainstream propaganda. Anyone who takes the wrong side has chosen not to do the slightest modicum of research.

Even if nothing else, we'd be better off just pursuing an avenue to stop the wanton bloodshed.

Thanks for your continued voice, Trish.

I am admittedly “tabula raza” on so much on Middle East and Israel. This podcast was an excellent in depth discussion….it would be interesting for Trish to interview Dr. Gad Saad.

I do fear we are inching toward a much larger global conflict and it seems by design.

Global conflict involving troops from the West would allow our regime to go lockdown 2.0 and censor everything. We all know a significant part of the establishment really wants us peasants to shut up and to get in line.

I 1/2 convinced the Trudeau would start a war just so he can cancel the upcoming election and try and lockdown Canada again🤔

It would be funny seeing Trudeau do a Mike Dukakis tank run with the helmet on backwards.

I can totally see Trudeau playing Mr Dressup and wearing army fatigues or even designing his own DEI non gender specific “war”drobe🤔….with special camo socks😂

I have been following the Diddy expose' and the actions of the elites in the music industry that mirror those in the movie and entertainment Industry, and that also fill much of our political class at every level of Government as well. May I say there is nothing of worth in any part of this world where these toxic, narcissitic, bored, and wealthy, Diva's and Don's thrive on twisted and deviant behaviour, and who overload on substances and alcohol . Now imagine how these same people are considered icons and people of substance by the public. Beauty is skin deep, and fleeting, and those who make a living off their physical attributes become narcissitic to their very core. They are self serving and care for nothing or no one as they are so wrapped up in themselves there is no room for competition or real relationships. Its a hollowed out sesspool of everything humanity should abhore and yet these same people are the ones leading us straight into hell.

Trish; it's not over until it's over. If we can get past the current flirtation with nuclear war and China and the BRICS, SCO etc continue to make progress and the empire continues in flailing about in its death thros, we have good chance of a better world. Reading Michael Hudson "one of a handful of real economists" a few years ago, I thought it hyperbole when he said that the current ruling classes might choose to blow up the world rather than give up the extraction parasite Free lunch control of the world. I was wrong, but I still have hope. As to, RFK jr. and his support for the genocide along with the deafening silence or support from the others; the explanation is outside the Overton window. Basically the Jews are in control of the western world. AIPAC alone spend $24 M on a New York primary because the incumbent wasn't servile enough. They won, he lost! NO one will take them on and it's All "Perfectly Legal, a good book by the way"; sanctioned by the SCOTUS. The corruption is easier to see in the US because it's mostly legalized. As they say about the truth; it's like the flack you get when you're over the target. Or as Jimmy Dore likes to say. "You aren't punished or censored for lies, it's the truth that gets you in trouble"! I also read "Goliath" and it was so depressing that another book by Max, "The 51 Day War" is on My Kindle but I doubt I'll ever read it. Like Solzhenitsyns "Gulag Archipelago" was so depressing I didn't read any more from the author. J Edgar Hoover was doing the same kind of depravity and with the Hoi Poli of society, just like Epstein. Hoover blackmailed the politicians and the Mob blackmailed Hoover. The ruling classes are a really sick bunch.

You are wrong about Kennedy--he IS bad. Consider that he has had a year to observe what Israel has done to the civilians in Gaza (for about the fourth time), to observe what Israel is doing and has done in the West Bank, what they have done and continue to do to Syria. He has watched them attack Iran and now he is watching them murder hundreds of civilians in Lebanon, just as they did in 2006. Now Israel is bombing Yemen. All of the countries Israel has attacked are sovereign nations. Not one word of condemnation from Kennedy. Dozens of knowledgable people who were enthusiastic about his campaign walked away because he refused to be educated about the history of Israel, and remained criminally intractable in the face of genocide and apartheid. Our most respected experts in foreign policy and international law (John Quigley, Francis Boyle, John Mearsheimer) have stated unequivocally that what Israel is doing is bad for Israel, illegal, bad for the US, bad for the world, bad for the Middle East, is morally vacuous and repugnant, but still Kennedy comes up with lie after ridiculous ignorant lie. You say you don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. But what if the bathwater has turned the baby into a monster? Consider that Kennedy's position on Israel makes EVERY OTHER POSITION he has a lie. Can we believe he is informed? No. Can we believe he is moral? No. Can we believe he wants the best for the US? No. Can we believe he is humane and cares about people around the world? No. Can we believe he wants to stop constant ridiculous US foreign interventions? No. Can we believe he cares about children? No. Now he has aligned himself with Trump, who every day says more and more hysterical things about how he is going to destroy Iran (who has done nothing to either Israel or him), and how he is going to support Israel destroying Gaza utterly and support all of Israel's criminal attacks on sovereign nations. Can we actually believe these two monsters are going to achieve anything positive? You are being fantastically naive. Please don't think I have any illusions about Kamala or would vote for her. She and Walz are every bit as evil. But come on, Trish. At least have the decency to vote third party.

I feel your pain and have those thoughts myself from time to time. I don't know what the answer is. So many people I admire have clammed up or said absurd things. I don't have the right answer on this....just posing questions incubating in my broken heart. After C-19 mandates, a lot of influencers were looking around for the next big thing and how to stay monitized and relevant. Some of them seem to have learned that criticizing Israel is bad for business. I did, too but decided to keep doing what I believe to be correct.

Scott speaks with such passion, it's hard not be drawn into the subject.

Many of his points got me thinking about the relationship between Israel and the United States. Israel seems to behave like a diminutive schoolyard bully that does whatever he wants, knowing that his big dumb friend will smack down anyone who fights back.

Israel has been called America's greatest ally and friend, but in light of some of the things Scott brought up, is that really true? What does the average American walking down Main street in small town USA gain? It looks like in exchange for sending his tax dollars overseas, the Boeing, Lockheed, and Northrup stock prices go up, and our figurative main streeter gets to watch planes fly into buildings in his cities.

What would happen if America were far more isolationist? If she kept her tax dollars on her own shores rather than send them overseas? I suspect Israel would be forced to behave far more diplomatically if she didn't have the backing of the biggest kid in the schoolyard.

Similarly, there would not be half a million dead Ukrainians if the neo-cons had kept to their own shores. I watched a video last night about Russia's invasion of Georgia, and the story was eerily similar: Country bordering Russia wants to join NATO, Russia says don't, they try anyway, Russia invades. Why the hell are American taxpayers paying the salaries of the salespeople for the military industrial complex?

When you said that Israel is committing "suicide" l could not agree more. The continuous lies (hasbarra) that are being fed to the west and the western medias willingness to repeat the Israeli script in order to brainwash us is sickening.

As a Canadian, l am becoming increasingly frustrated with our governments support of Israel. I had high hopes that Poilievre would be different from Trudeau/Singh, Harris/Trump (and RFK) and Sunak/Starmer in the UK.

Is every politician so afraid that their career will be prematurely terminated by opposing Israeli war crimes and genocide as happened to Jeremy Corbyn? Is every MSM reporter and news anchor frightened of losing their cushy job for telling the truth as happened to Mehdi Hassan?

Trish thank you for all your intelligent reporting. You truly give me hope. I will endeavour to spread the truth no matter how many times l am called an Anti-Semite, ignoramous, or a radicalized supporter of Arab/Islamic terrorism. If Bill-63 (hate speech and the new anti-semitism definition) passes the HOC on November 22nd l hope you'll all come visit me in prison. LOL

Free Palestine. Free Lebanon, Free Yemen. Free Syria. Free Jordan.

The link now leads to a very good interview by Jimmy Dore of Max Blumenthal about RFKjr's support of Israel. However it is not Max Blumenthal responding to clips of RFKjr's.

İ was particularly interested in the idea of Blumenthal responding to clips of RFK in place of an actual debate between them.

Anyway, all good. Thanks again!
