Thank you for your insight, I am an idealist and keep thinking that some of the true journalists are/will be trying to convince their respective networks that they should be reporting the new data on the vaccines, how the mandates were unjust and unlawful and didn't help in any way as they were sold/intended and that the freedom convoy was a legal protest with few exceptions ... and on and on. I am hoping that their goodness and integrity is going to eat at them and they will be trying to come clean before they meet their makers or something like that. Funny I guess. I was talking with my controller, a woman who I consider a sister that is so important to my business and my life, saying that this didn't fit my interpretation of the WOKE direction things seem to be moving in. Her perspective was that women had hit their glass ceiling and that brown skin and LGBTQ was now the new biased. So, I will try to stay up to speed on where we are at LOL. I would like to think that Lisa, like all intelligent people, would have some scepticism as to how the government and the health officials have been screwing everything up so bad and that something needed to be said about it. I agree that she was in on it, but like so many people that took part in the vaccine to just get on with life and stay employed and just don't want to talk about it anymore.

I have been working on a project with molecular iodine for the last 3 years and we are just about to launch worldwide. Iodine is the forgotten weapon in a pandemic, handled the Spanish Flu, Tuberculosis in 1800s and has been used in medicine for over 100 years. Iodine in its purest form, sprayed in the mouth and back of the throat, will kill bacteria and deactivate a virus before it converts to iodide. IoNovo Oral Iodine is a 150PPM pure iodine that is a micronutrient necessary to feed the thyroid to produce T3 T4 hormones that activate the immune system, metabolism and Intellect to name some of its benefits. T3 T4 hormones are vital to life and most doctors prescribe Synthroid rather than tell their patients that they are iodine deficient. Lazy robots I call them. Maybe that is the case with most so called journalists. I have been working with many doctors who founded the FLCCC so I know the whole story about Fauci and his band of murderers and thieves and the tireless effort of the many doctors that spat in Fauci's eye and treated patients early with the amazing therapeutics we already had available to us. I have never reached Dr. Bridle, but Dr. Malone, Marik and Varon are some of the doctors I have been in touch with. Maybe I need to realize that there are only a few of us that really give a shit and think there is something more to our energy than self gratification. I love your work, I want to turn up your mic ...thank you for your integrity, its shines like a new diamond.

Just a day after reading this, Lisa Laflamme was released from CTV. I would appreciate any insight into this as I had always felt that she was an honest reporter that wanted to enlighten the masses with what was truly happening and it feels like she wanted to report the NEWS.

So I think we have to separate Lisa from the industry she works in. Clearly she was screwed over by an exec. who didn't like her, thought she was too expensive and wanted to score ESG points by replacing her with a brown-skinned man. The hand wringing over the country losing a "great journalist" is absurd. CTV, CBC and the rest -- including Lisa were wrong about all C-19 issues, including lockdowns and vaccines and mandates, Trump/Russia, the Freedom Convoy and all the other stories that don't line up with the approved narrative. I hope she sues. She will get big money. But my sorrow for the world of journalism predates her firing by about a decade.

Thank you for this. A lot has changed since Mr Rushdie wrote Satanic Verses. Of note, Islam (not free speech) became the poster child of left liberal progressivism. The progressive Left that once championed his cause has become almost unrecognizable now. It will be interesting indeed to see who from today's left liberal progressives steps out in his defense. I suspect that will be an interesting story of socio-cultural radicalism in & of itself. I suspect, too, that Mr Rushdie is no longer the iconic figure of free speech he once was. For somewhere along the way free speech became the terrain of the alt-right, a slur & something to be censored in the name of defending those who claim the moral high ground, whose vision for the future is the ONLY acceptable future to be countenanced, all others silenced, censored, thrown on the trash heap of so-called intolerance. Odd isn't it - considering where the real intolerance is coming from

Very fine analysis Trish, of the selective morality of the Left. Unfortunately, Salman Rushdie's case is a sad example.

The pronouned, blue hair mob are desensitized to real violence. I think most of their expressed outrage over the latest thing has more to do with scoring virtue points, victimization points and conceit than any heart felt anguish.

Not a peep from the ACLU or Amnesty International about Rushdie. Platitudes from Joe Biden but no mention of the evil Iranian regime and its ongoing fatwa. Maybe silence really is violence?

None of this much, like the climate/ecological chaos unfolding, will disappear through neglect or silence. Folks want it easy here in the West. Send 'em into the occupied West Bank or Gaza for a real taste of what we here allow.

These words are truly decent of you, Trish. I recall the time, nearly 52 years ago, when True-dough, the Sr., invoked the WMA across our Dominion in 1970 for a local issue in the PQ. Even then, folks who knew better, kept quiet, the same avalanche of cowardice we witness today.

I was taking a history course that fateful Oct., at the U of Waterloo, standing up in class as the youngish prof was chalking something on the blackboard about Jean de Brébeuf who was martyred in 1649. I said in a loud voice, “Professors are being arrested without due process, no Habeas Corpus, simply because of their personal politics.” He looked at me, all the other students were silent; then the dude went back to his chalk. I walked out and never went back.

At that time there was a really good true leftist publication [not this Yankee ‘woke’ nonsense which masquerades as left-leaning] printed from la belle province called the Last Post. It had a tagline that went something like: “Publish #$it and Be Dammed”. We have adopted all this technological change yet still, as a species, are unable to realize our commonality, if you like Oneness, with the lava, from whence it all sprang, given 4.3 B years. hahaha

Excellent! Unbelievable how insane our world is becoming! This affected me greatly and I had to write a short piece, too. Interestingly, I ran into Salman Rushdie at an exclusive Hollwood club, it must have been around 1999, (with a beautiful woman on his arm), but more than that, I am in love with his writing, I mean really in love with it! What a voice. Where would we be without such voices and of course they are hated, even just for their sheer beauty, but also for their searing truth.
