Great comments about the lockdown here in Canada. As a naturalized Canadian raised in the US, I realized during this time that Canadian courts side with the govt and powers that be nearly every time. In the US, at least, you've always got a court/judge willing to buck the system, but Canada's courts are largely Liberal govt proxies. Shocking, particularly in such a time of massive government overreach.

Exceptional piece Trish - thank you! As an American, I find your work on Canadian, American and world-wide issues simply wonderful. The truth will always come out...the only question is, how hard must we push and how long will this process take?!? I have great hope that the needle is slowing moving, despite all of the crazies out there who still can't see what is happening around them.

I've wondered if Blasey Ford ( Stanford, institutionally and geographically) is/was in way politically connected to Barbara Fried ?

"Fried is a co-founder of the political fundraising organization Mind the Gap, which advocates support for Democratic Party candidates and funds get-out-the-vote groups.[15] The organization, described by Vox in January 2020 as "Silicon Valley's secretive donor group",[16][17] advises high-profile tech donors, including former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, on where to direct campaign contributions.[1]

In November 2022, Fried resigned from her chairwoman position with Mind the Gap.[18][19]"

A lot to cover. The Emergencies Act in Canada and in the USA were using our constitutions as a spare roll of Charmin to wipe their asses with while destroying our rights. Plain and simple.

As for E. Jean Carroll, she was as credible as Christine Blasey Ford. Do you remember when Leahey said, "And one of them was on you?" Ford answered yes and NO ONE followed up. Which one was on you? That was a witch hunt. EJC gets millions because Trump hurt her feelings. Bullshit! Where the hell was she when he ran for president in 2016?

Clinton gets blow jobs in the WhiteHouse and Trump in in trouble because he might have been with a porn star. So fucking what? That's between him and his wife. And if Stormy was paid off and signed a NDA she violated it and needs to give the money back. What is she voting for Biden or something?

Putin just jails his opponents (Alexei Navalny) while Biden, Double '0' Dummy-licensed to steal uses the CORRUPT justice department to go after his opponents-while he's too feeble minded to stand trial yet he can be the president.

When Biden was leveraging the money to the Ukraine, I question if Obama knew his VP was a crook. And if so, for how long? And if he didn't know, how stupid is Obama?

It appears that Lady Justice took off her blindfold and revealed that she's a real hater.

Obama know

Sex Crimes Lawfare and You. Very interesting title. We know police cover up sexual assault and rape. We know they blackmail or frame people with this.

Jeffrey Epstein according to his brother said that both Hilary Clinton and Trump couldnt run for president in 2016 because of the stuff he had on them. Ghislaine Maxwells friend stated they taped everyone on the lolita express epstein island and his homes. Blackmail the order of the day. He has a ranch in New Mexico. Were human trafficked and drugs brought there from mexico and columbia? Jeffrey Epstein connected to the Casa DeCampo DR crowd with organized crime and politicians and elites mingling together. With human trafficking huge there. Neil Ferguson was funded by Jeffrey Epstein. IS EVERYONE GETTING IT YET. EPSTEIN VISITED THE CIA HEADQUARTERS

This is OUR HILL Tamara (and Trish et al.)

#StayStrong

Don't have a pot to piss in. Closed the bank account that ILLEGALLY FROZE #TheTruckers cash, credit cards and debit cards, etc, on Saturday February 18th.

Emptied it. The teller asked "why", as is protocol. Probably inappropriate but I didn't mince my words. Told her EXACTLY why. (Didn't swear. "Arrestable offence" in Canada in these times?)

Her response: " Our bank (TD bank) had no choice..."

Oh my dear (foreign) girl I beg to DIFFER...

(TURDEAU SUPPORTER? Who knows who cares...)

Am a Free (wo)man in Paris. (Texas and CA) For the moment.

People down here know NOTHING. (Like my immediate family: they'll ignore any data offered. H.E.B. and Buckees and church on Sundays!! Weeee! Praise the Lord and pass the ammo and beer.)

Daunting.

PS: Didn't cancel my TD credit card... 😉comeuppance en route any day now...

"Can't bleed a stone" and "A rolling stone gathers no moss." 😀

PSS: Name and SHAME the perps. On billboards.

Scene from 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri. (Fantastic film produced on a shoestring. NOT advocating violence... but it was a great scene...)

PSSS: Be back in Canuckistan soon to continue the struggle cuz: everywhere you go, there you are.

Well stated, Trish. I love how the political left, which currently has essentially all of the cultural and legal power in the West, will use almost any means to undermine anyone who disagrees with them: lawfare, defamation, harassment, cancellation, etc., which they then justify by saying they are trying to save "democracy." By saving "democracy" they mean undermining actual democracy (which they call "populism") and keeping themselves in power under the assumption that they, the elites, know what is best for us plebs better than we do. The relentless lawfare war against Trump is the most egregious example of this: "Let's keep the candidate the people have chosen off the ballot to save democracy" might be the stupidest -- and most Orwellian--phrase I've ever heard.

We as a society need to find ways to make Lawfare a serious crime. A serious crime that by definition can only be committed by those with power, money, privilege and status. The penalty for lawfare needs to be one that will get the attention of those who think they might benefit from lawfare, and not a wrist slap.

Some observations:

- Prosecutors who engage in lawfare should be disbarred with prejudice

- Judges should be able to find that cases in their court room are lawfare as an option, and be able to immediately refer the parties involved to be investigated by a citizens panel (not a part of the legal system). By definition, this panel should have the highest possible security clearance because if a government, or government entity is committing lawfare their first action would be declare their activities a secret. Police and other agencies should also be directed to provide security to this panel as a personal liability. (For instance the RCMP Commissioner must provide a personal guarantee of the panels security)

The hard issue with respect to this, is that the instinctive response of a Narcissistic Sociopath is to immediately accuse their enemies of "lawfare:. Which means that any legislation will have to be well written with stringent safeguards against abuse.

Trish I particularly feel the same way about two pieces of this writing, abortion, immoral but it will happen so have reasonable laws and the convoy. I also remember those weeks thinking the liberals were well and truly going to leave us locked down forever. Such hope arose every mile the trucks drove east and every citizen that stood on the frozen overpass to cheer them on. We desperately needed that hope and it ultimately proved to be the only thing that got us free. God bless the freedom fighters. Long may they live

My brother, a retired cop, once told me that Crown Attorneys are terrified of the activists. Unlike other criminal charges, where the Crown may withdraw cases with little chance of a conviction, sexual assault cases ALWAYS go to trial. Years later, I served as jury foreman on a 2 week rape trial. We, 7 women and 5 men, acquitted in under an hour and were angry that it ever went to court. In short, the plaintiff was a married woman who pressed charges only after her husband learned of the act. That experience forever altered my view of both the criminal justice system and supposed victims.
