Thanks to you both and especially appreciated the dialogue regarding the harmful impacts of the mandates (which the POEC seemed to sidestep). Would have liked to learn more about what happened at the inquiry with Brendan Miller ... and what is going on with the lawsuit involving lawyer Paul Champ? For next time, perhaps.
Down here in Minnesota we vaccine skeptics watched your truckers with glee. Some of my family was in the midst of trying to get an exemption and others were waiting to see if their company was really going to mandate. We weren’t fooled by the media, rather we’re angered by Trudeau and the coverage because we could easily see alternative coverage and live videos of what really took place. I was just going to donate to the cause when they froze their accounts. They could have collected millions! And what could they have done with that?!?We had truckers come thru here going cross country and schedules were published so people could go to the overpasses and cheer them on. They stopped short of DC so I think they were easily ignored. We didn’t hear much more. Trudeau had his effect. So so sad. Being surrounded by crazy democrats here it’s nice to see any little spark of resistance. We have terrible laws being pushed through here while they have the chance ( they control all branches of our government) and people not only are oblivious, they don’t want to have any discussion at all. Trish, I treasure your podcasts. Nice to see another ‘gray head’ out there and making a difference. I tell everyone I can about you. Onward and Upward!!
I was very disappointed that following the release of the report of the Public Order Emergency Commission that none of our representatives were outraged about the commissionner's conclusion. The peaceful protest that united good and benevolent Canadians last year, should have been the center of their speech and the great injustice that this report is doing to them and all Canadians. We have lost our ability to express our concerns. our freedom of expression has been shattered by this report and they decided to be silent on this matter. Maybe they should take a leaf out of Tamara's book and start displaying courage, honesty and integrity. In my whole life, I never engaged in politic but I have been inspired by Tamara and I now see that it is my responsibility to create the world I want to live in. I have been to Ottawa and protested for my rights alongside great people, I have written to many members of the House of Commons and senate, I have campaigned for a politician that was representing great values and the morals of a great leader. Taking these actions that I thought I would never take , was merely following the foot steps of exceptional t role model like Tamara Lich, Trish Wood and many more. Let's all display courage like them and we might live in a Canada where we can be proud and free citizens.
Thanks for having Tamara on Trish, it has been great to hear how she is doing. Such a strong lady to have in our camp and you both inspire me so much! I was lucky enough to watch the convoy pass through our town on Highway 17 and then to attend the protest. I loved every bit of the emotion and energy pouring out of everyone. I was able to walk down Wellington Street and speak to many truckers and express my gratitude to them. To this day, my family members still can't understand why I went to the "illegal occupation"! Will they ever wake up? I do know that we are all on our own path, but need to stick together through thick and thin. The trucker convoy was as Canadian as it gets and it inspired the world. I believe we will be able to come back from this dark time in history as a better country seeing how strong we have been these past years, but we will need to keep going for a bit longer....
I did not get to meet Tamara at the Protest last winter but the two weekends that I went to Ottawa were some of the best memories of my life as a proud Canadian. We also stood on the overpass bridge in freezing wind to wave our flags as the vehicles rolled down the 401. My heart beamed with pride. Their trailers may have been empty but they had a full load of HOPE. Thanks Tamara and thank you to all Canadians who participated or wanted to.
I attended the protests in Winnipeg. Like many who have commented here, I found the protests to be civil, uplifting and informative. Seeing how people were coping w the lockdowns and building resilience in there community was especially encouraging. I would also like to say that I met and spoke w a number of indigenous people that saw through the governments portrayal of indigenous people's (community at heightened risk) for what it was; a clinical trial on a captive group, where if things did go wrong the government could blame the usual tropes (poor housing, bad water, drugs etc).
Loved your latest episode with Tamara, Trish. I love that we all have personal stories of what the convoy meant to us. I didn't get to be there but when I heard it was coming I knew I wanted to be involved, so I helped to organize one of the Manitoba "pit stops". Hundreds of people in our community donated and showed up to see them pass at lunch time on January 25th. Vehicles lined the highway for miles. I'll never forget how much my phone rang for those 4 days while people called to see how they could help or contribute. Complete strangers broke down in tears on the phone with me. I even called my MP to tell him all about it, and encouraged him to engage with the truckers in Ottawa. The hope was palpable that day and I'll never forget it. My husband and some friends passed lunches to Chris & Carey from The Whistle Stop Cafe and I saved the clip: https://youtu.be/BHfIrH-8VYA
I wanted to go on the first weekend but it wasn't possible. So I went 2 weeks later. I arrived in Ottawa from New Tecumseth and I was blown away. I went for a walk in a Friday night, it was sooo cold but the energy was soooo warm. I ran into a friend from Niagara Falls and we spent the evening roaming the streets. I spoke to so many people who saw right through the lies we've been fed and it made me feel like there is more of us than I originally thought. The next day, I walked alone and cried for an hour as I watched the dedication of the protesters. It was humbling and beautiful. I cried because I came from Poland (I was a small kid in the 80s) and understood where this was heading to if we didn't protest. I have never felt this much love and acceptance as i did that day. Tamara, you are our Martyr. I hold you to my highest respect. You are fighting for Solidarność the sake way Polish people did in the early 80s in Gdańsk. THANK YOU
I listened to this while out for a walk in the California sunshine. I was glad to be wearing sunglasses as my eyes welled up repeatedly. Especially powerful was Tamara’s comment that her Canada had become so small. Mine too. I wish I had had a fraction of her courage during the whole covid debacle. Instead, I bit my tongue a thousand times and dutifully got vaxxed to keep my job (public school teacher), and wore a mask for two years solid. At the end of my life I know I will look back and wish I had voiced what I always knew to be true: a very tiny percentage of us were ever at risk of dying from covid. The rest was an orchestrated effort to convince us this wasn’t true, and only government overreach could save us. The courage you have (both!) shown leaves me tremendously humbled and eternally grateful.
Tamara is a true Canadian patriot and hero. She and the truckers gave so many of us “fringe minorities” hope in a time of great darkness. We will always be grateful. And her treatment by the judiciary showed us how corrupt our institutions are. Bless you Tamara!🙏🏼🥰
I don't believe that I ever in memory believed in the system. Whether it's the invisible man in the sky, the indoctrination in the school industrial complexes, the media industrial complexes, the medical industrial complexes and certainly the legal industrial complexes. Rule of law, think about that; did the law's come down from heaven carved in stone by god herself or were they written by the lobbyists for the ruling classes and passed by the puppets of the oligarchies, really. Harari is right, people can believe anything. Now we know through fMRI studies that your pre frontal cortex can be turned off and the hucksters know how to do it. You could never convince a monkey to give you her bannana today for a promise of infinite bananas in monkey heaven after you die, monkeys aren't that DUMB, people are. You don't go to school to learn how to think critically, that's inate. You go learn the Overton Window and most learn it very well. It's omnipresent and banal.
Thanks for these. It is remarkable that you and I have a totally different take on the same event as legacy media who apparently only saw threat and terror. I'm not sure how this will ever be fixed. I will dive in to your posts tonight. Much appreciated.
Thank you. We also went to the Rolling Thunder event in the summer. Again, just wonderful people there. But the police presence and mood was quite different, not a nice feeling. My husband got into an argument with an over the top by law 'officer' who was going to cite a guy for playing music to loud on the radio he was carrying. The by-law officer was an officious twit, He backed down, my husband can be imposing, he was an officer in the army for over 40 years, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel ten years ago,

Your thoughts on higher yet?

You now need to have Sasha Latypova on your show.
Fantastic talk with Tamara. The convoy gave me hope after a fall and winter of fear. God bless you all.

(It was -35°C that day and windy!)
Loved this video and will post on my Twitter later this morning. Wow. Such happy days.

Loved the interview. Thank you, Trish! Thank you, Tamara! Badass truthtellers in an insane world. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
