those who have found a reason for being defending a movement that destroys its own can shout and bully as much as they want, but can never win. it rears its ugly head with force and weasel words, it's thoroughly confusing, but it's a naked emperor. to imply 'it won' is disingenuous.
The only reasonable response to this lunacy is ridicule and a steadfast refusal to comply with their "reality". To just go along in order to get along is an admission of defeat and utmost cowardice. I agree, we have to call it out and stop complying out of politeness. Academics and senior managers in corporations are adding these pointless pronouns in their email signatures and social media profiles. Libraries and other public spaces are falling over themselves to adopt Pride Month and 'educate' the public on the inherent 153 gender identities (or whatever nonsense it is today) and try to shame us into using them. Try to fill in a government form and there's a checkbox for 'other' as a gender. Enough. You're either male or female or else see a doctor about your problem but stop trying to make it everyone else's problem.

good point, but no, never blaming mums. however the influence of (patterns of-) dysfunctional family-life is something that really needs to be looked at more seriously, by empathic and non-judgemental, trustworthy specialists. those mums deserve to be taken seriously. Don't blame mums for everything. The other possibility looming large is social contagion due to exposure to internet chat rooms etc.

We are in real trouble. Not just because they are succeeding in changing the language but because the educated people in power let them.
