An anagram of censorship is 'conspire sh'. Says it all. A conspiracy to shush people up from telling the truth. E.G.A.L.E are a bunch of loonies.

Hi Trish, I just wanted to tell you that I listened to your Mother's day episode with your son and it wasn't an easy one. I can relate to being the mom of someone dealing with addiction. Tough love, compassionate love, support, I've done it all. Never have figured out the 'right' way of doing this. Seems everything I have done has been a failure. Detachment seems impossible when you are wondering, day after day, if she is still alive. Hospitals. Police. Dangerous men. Half my hair fell out last year from stress! Thanking God every day that she found AA last fall and praying she stays sober. I will pray for you and your son that you both find peace in sobriety. Thanks for the great podcast!

A Mother's Day interview with your son was a great idea & he didn't disappoint. An intelligent, respectful conversation throughout - a model for how any family might overcome the *great covid divide*. IMO we spend an inordinate amount of time trying to fix unfixable problems which is not to minimize the courageous & herculean efforts of people (many featured on your podcasts) to fight back against what they correctly perceive is the very dangerous trajectory our world is currently on. Sadly this gargantuine effort to turn the ship around is being ignored by the powerful cabal that controls the essential mechanisms that our world runs on. The problems that are out there are not meant to be fixed, at least not by us. They are by design, intentional, meant to collapse the old world order completely. Tear it down to the foundations & rip up even the foundations. Then comes the dystopian grand fix - the Great Reset/4th Industrial Revolution/transhumanist NWO global biosecurity state of the controllers - the corporate globalist technocracy. Have you interviewed Michael Rechtenwald on this? Even if we did succeed in turning the ship around what would we go back to now? There is no going back. The dystopian futurist vision of the cabal promises a horrific, inhuman future. The conundrum we face is there are no other convincing futurist visions out there - not that they would be listened to anyway. The Great Reset ship has already left port with its boatload of corporate managers, media lackies, educators, movie stars & the lobotomized masses are riveted to their screens watching on numbed & mindlessly as their digital prison is constructed around them. That ship Great Reset is not going to turn back. Whether we can construct a better & more convincing ship now remains to be seen

Trish I truly enjoyed your Mother's Day conversation with your son. As a mom of young adults (23 and 31) I find myself struggling with the same issues of when and how to engage in meaningful conversations about important things. I think those with intact, loving families before the pandemic were in the best position to endure the information battle we are contending with.

I found myself wincing at certain parts of the conversation:

When your son called Tucker a walking lacrosse injury -- the left are quite comfortable lobbing such insults because they have the mistaken belief that the majority of the "good" people agree with them. This is a fallacy in my opinion made possible by our broken media environment.

When you talked about covid -- most people I know under the age of 40 have a "let's just move on" mentality. I think it's because they've been conditioned to already distrust the system and what happened just reinforced their beliefs. Older westerners remember a time when our government didn't have its tentacles embedded in every aspect of our life, so we're honestly shocked and terrified by what we saw. I don't know how we reconcile that difference in perception.

When your son talked about his relapse -- he is certainly an empathic, self-reflective young man. I can only imagine your pride at raising someone who has had a troubled past but who has the intellect and soulfulness to understand what's happened in his life from a perspective of taking responsibility for his actions and decisions.

Thank you for sharing such an honest, candid and personal conversation with us.

Matt Taibi (Twitter Files / Racket) and a team of 10 researchers just published a comprehensive report on the growing Censorship Industrial Complex (CIC) which has clearly infiltrated 🇨🇦 & the CBC.

In Rodney Palmer’s (April 14) Trish interview, First Draft (now renamed Information Futures Lab (IFL) at Brown University) was the CIC organization behind some of the first CBC Covid propaganda we enjoyed up here.

More than ever before, knowledge is power. Thanks to you Trish, and others like Matt et al for helping us to keep eyes open and eyes on. 🙏🏽

Great conversation with Jacob Seigel on the pod (he was also interviewed by Glenn Greenwald this week.) The whole disinformation complex is a fraud, that much is clear -- a jobs program for intelligence and government agencies in mad drives for control. Let's pray they are thwarted before they dig graves for us all.

On the flip side, I found the interview with the trucker at the end of this week's pod to be one of the most inspiring pieces of audio I've heard in some time. I don't know the particulars of his case aside from what was mentioned there, but if someone so calm, reasonable, and inspiring is indicative of the citizenry Canada produced before the tyrannies of Trudeau, yours is (was?) a very fine country, indeed. Christian or no, we could all use the strength of faith this man professed. Thanks for the interview.

You and I are complety in the same frame of mind about this. What distresses me even more is that I cannot convince members of my own family where this is going. My niece, who actually likes to hunt, who I told, they are coming for your guns, says no, just those nasty assault rifles that people shouldn't have anyhow. And I am saying, no really, your hunting rifle, and I don't even hunt. They vote Liberal, they are union people and despite the comple failure of the NDP to defend them they fail to see the Conservative party has become the party of the working people. Pierre Poilivevre may not be everybody's but at least he can speak without talking points and a dozen or so ems, uuhs, and ahs and can make his point quiet clearly. I cannot convince a single member of my family about how slandered the truckers were, despite the fact that I live in Ottawa and actually went downtown to see them and found it one of the most uplifting experiences of my life. They would rather believe CBC than me, who actually used to be a news reporter.

A colleague stated that those who do not like CBC are far right racists, targeting myself, who is nowhere in that group. Her blindness, as an ideologue, is what feeds CBC, Trudeau, his disgusting Totalitarian bills, funds EGALE and all the other Woke organizations with our tax dollars. As for Fox news, catching Tucker Carlson was always a highlight on youtube. A group like EGALE with their lets-destroy -the-kids agenda is terrified of truth, of evidence-based science and real data that would undermine the very ground they stand on. And the CRTC? Another censorious mouth. Where can we move to???

My personal belief is that Fox has epsteind itself. The only thing keeping them on the air was their loyal base. They decided to torpedo that by firing Tucker, which was the final in a large bushel of straws in my opinion. They’ve left themselves vulnerable to every leftist who has lobbied to get them off the air. I could actually see it happening. It was close with Jan 6.

The point of all of this seems to be that Canadian citizens are not trusted to listen to different perspectives, weigh their merits, and decide for themselves what to conclude. We are apparently all too fragile of mind to discern what makes sense, what is credible and what is far-fetched. We are not trusted by our government to make adult choices about how to be informed about current affairs, that have been afforded in democracies for over a century.

FOX is apparently more dangerous than the Chinese government, which Liberal cabinet ministers and the Prime Minister continue to double down with their 'hear no evil, see no evil" approach to news stories about what CSIS shared with the PMO and National Security Advisor to the PM, Jody Thomas. I completely agree that Canada is becoming the most censored nation in the western world. But, if someone writes a book about these times it might be titled "They Thought They Were Free". A gaslit public will not notice all the red flags. But, with your reporting here on Substack, a minority of us will chronicle these times and hopefully find ways to resist this dangerous trajectory.

Sadly, I think too many people will rejoice that Tucker is gone and that maybe Fox will be gone from our viewing. Too many think that what Tucker was sharing was far from the truth so of course they are clapping that he is gone, totally unaware that he was about the only one bringing these truths up. What used to be a free Canada is now sliding into the depths of despair and absolute government control.

The Trudeau government and it's minions are becoming scarier by the day and yet few Canadians seem to recognize this. In a free country, no agency of unelected bureaucrats should be deciding anything about what we see. Funny they are looking at removing Fox News, but not the th CCP broadcasting platforms from our airwaves which we know had a hand in interferring in our last two elections. Recently we learn that the CCP was threatening the families of a Conservative MP, in China, because he was making critical comments about the CCP, and again we find out Trudeau knew about this for at least two years and did nothing about it! Now he is also looking at changing our Coat of Arms to replace symbols that he doesn't like with one s approved by his government, and no one, not a single person or agency is being consulted about this. His leanings toward dictatorship grow more pronounced each and every day and yet Canadians seem not to care. Because when you look at polling, while the Liberals may be behind right now, they still could win another election, and that is truly scarey.
