Years ago when Kamala ran for DA in San Francisco I met her campaigning in a nearby neighborhood. I was the only person there, introduced myself and asked a question. Not only did she not engage, she immediately turned her back to me. All this time, I blamed myself. She is apparently part of a Maoist organization in San Francisco even to this day. She's a traitor, without question, and I don't expect we'll see the last of her.

I woke up today with a sense of lightness that I haven’t felt in a very long time. I don’t “like” Trump, but I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Kamala was a disaster. Full stop.

Next JT.

Well said, Irene! I feel the same way about PP, but I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Unfortunately we have very little choice in order to get TheTyrant out. Pierre worries me on his Ukraine/Israel war stance but clearly, Canada cannot afford to financially support either so there’s that. I’d be very much in favour of a “Canada 1st” policy theme.

A Canada First policy would be a great start! I am so happy to see the provinces beginning to push back against Federal overreach (I’m in Alberta😄) I hope that movement continues and grows!

You are lucky to have Danielle! I'm in Ontario (my apologies) where Ford actually can find his balls every once in a while (he's making TMU base their med school program on merit rather than race).

Last weekend’s AGM was pretty inspiring. Danielle got a 91.5% approval rating. She’s a friend to freedom. She’s also more concerned about meritocracy rather than DEI. Let’s pray more follow!

I do like Danielle as well. Do you have any insight as to why she hasn’t banned the mRNA injections as of yet? I really thought she would’ve done it long ago.

I am happy about Trump. Yes Canada will be paying tariffs. We need a strong conservative govt to bring the best outcome for Canada. Now Trudeau needs to pack his U-Haul and take Singh with him. Let’s get back to making this country stronger and back to normal.

Thank you for mentioning Canada. I was beginning to think l'd stumbled upon another US substack.

Once again, nicely done 👏🏽

It was funny to watch our state media here just lose their marbles at the results.

Apparently the Trump team is very aware of how the bank of England sabotaged Liz Truss' when she was briefly PM in the UK, and they are keeping an eye on the fed that they don't try pulling some similar shenanigans

I’m so happy and relieved that Trump won…I’m curious Trish, what your concern is about Tulsi Gabbard? I don’t recall hearing anything untoward.

She tweeted in favour of the on-going Israeli military project using language right out of the Neocon playbook. I was shocked but am waiting to see if this talk was just to enable the election. I like her.

The truly sad thing about the whole Israeli-Gaza debacle is that had Trump been president in 2020, there is a strong likelihood it never would have happened. Trump when he took power in 2016 ended the flow of millions of dollars going to Iran thanks to Obama's nuclear deal with it, not to mention buying millions and millions of barrels of oil. Biden came in and put Obama's disastrous policies back in place enriching the mullahs once more. Then came the disastrous and embarrassing American withdrawal from Afghanistan that only demonstrated US weakness and emboldened the mullahs in Iran to finance Hamas which ultimately led to October 7th.

If Tulsi had been the Dems choice for president I believe she would have won!

This whole Israel debacle is even convincing those who profess peace at all costs…except when it’s Israel. It’s like they’ve got this blind spot when it comes to Israel…gawd…I hope that peace prevails.

It's weird. Can't explain it.

She was also pushing lockdowns and the covid narrative

Expand full comment

Who……. Tulsi ?

Expand full comment

Assuming that was in 2021 & that she has never admitted she was wrong ?

Other than Pierre Kory, no one else comes to mind that admitted they got it wrong. In Kory’s case, he admitted that he never questioned any of the journals or the CDC in the early days of Covid. It wasn’t until policies weren’t adding up that he began to question things. This was after him and his family were vaccinated on at least two occasions.

The best part for me isn't that Trump won and dragged the legislative branches with him, it's that THEY LOST! His first term, he didn't have a clue about running the government and the swamp took full advantage of the ignorance. He is dangerous this time because he knows the game and the players but, like ALL of us, he has his weaknesses. Hopefully he appoints a strong reform cabinet and let's THEM run with with their portfolios. The USS America and for that matter, the western countries were holed and sinking as the officers were partying with not concern for the crew or the passengers. First thing is to plug the hole and do it hard AND NOW, show no mercy. Second, pumping the swamp out of the bilge and the bilge and the hold is full of parasitic swamp dreck. Third is get the ship underway again. Hopefully it goes well and the rest of the western countries decide to right their vessels and accept the new multi polar world where things can get better for everyone. Having grown up in Kitchener and watching an industrial powerhouse turning into a couple of universities peddling mostly BS and student debt I know that it won't be easy and our comprador politicians are not up to the task... but.... that's the task for the future. Today, we dodged the bullet!

Still waiting for the Donald to lock up HRC. Donna Lamframboise tells us our Canadian stories about the Freedom Convoy...she needs more attention because her interviews are with real canucks; hundreds of them. Unfortunately, I have been told that not taking DEI training will exclude me from my professional association after 30+ years, so I can no longer afford to donate.

Just desserts for the Kamala cult. I always thought her “sensitive” emotionality was a thinly veiled over-sensitivity. You can hear the almost-breaking-into-shrill timbre in her voice whenever she speaks, so your account of her dark moodiness makes sense. -Just as the blathering bluster of Trump’s over-confident toxic masculinity is clear in his delivery, but just enough to almost mask his own people-pleasing sensitivity. That forced calm reassurance also heard in his voice. To his credit he’s possibly also using that tone to undercut his more angry side, softening his acceptable factor as the kind uncle. They each embody the dark aspects of their gender. That is just as their respective parties overtly embody the shadow side of their ideological positions. I’m slightly worried about two things : what the Dems do in their last few months of power, and what happens when JD takes over for the Donald.

What are your specific concerns with Vance ? I had never heard of him before he became the VP nominee other than writing Hillbilly Effigy.

He is clearly extremely intelligent and articulate in debating policy. He simply embarrassed so many reporters in MSM. He was also very impressive in the VP debate. I loved him showing sympathy to Tim Walz because he didn’t realize his son was autistic ( not entirely sure on the son’s issue…… not that it changes my point )

To think Dems claimed he was weird…… when Walz clearly fits that description.

Agree 100%.Not perfect but the fact that the people won is extremely comforting and that the globalist woke Weffers took a hit is thrilling for me.Best part is that our Canadian Liberals are very upset.

Trish, read Andrew Coyne’s opinion piece in the Globe, he is a piece of shit!

Expand full comment

I lost all respect for Coyne after his biased and over the top writing trashing and lying about the truckers. He was over the top on them and showed no sign of journalistic curiosity or neutality. He is an elitist who has lost all touch with reality and ordinary people, be they Canadians or Americans.

I was a fan of Brian Lilley at the Toronto Sun for his criticisms of the Trudeau Liberals. Right up until he began shilling for Israel's genocide.

I am neutral on Lilley..he wasnt flattering on the Truckers and he is over the top pro Israel but not nearly as much as his buddy Warren Kinsella.

“In fact, the world sees it” might be the most important statement of all. After four years of insanity, vindication. We are not the crazy ones—and now all can see it, except those who choose not to or who have been blinded by their own lies and propoganda. “There are none so blind as those who will not see.”
