I’m having a hard time just moving along, day to day, knowing this is what is taking place. The fact my govt and many across the globe are tolerating or even enabling this behaviour. After the Covid experience in Canada with Trudy at the helm I guess it shouldn’t surprise me.

I will never understand why or how humans can do this to one another :'( !!!!

Is there a reputable charity that will help with the victims' rehabilitation? It's so hard to know where to legitimately donate. Same with assistance to the animals that must be suffering terribly, too.

Let me see. I was wondering the same thing. I will ask Dr. Khan.

I don't always. Gaza has kind of been the last emotional straw for me after four years of fighting the cruelty of the C-19 regime. Plus watching my old profession turn against the people has been hard. I will take a short break sometime soon, God willing and do some spiritual work and maybe some suntanning.....I am cursed with the old fashioned journalists addiction to covering important things so it is hard to stay away. On 9/11 I asked my best girlfriend, also a reporter if she wanted to drive to New York from Toronto so we could report from there. Insane. But is is in the blood. Even at my age. And with all these children dying I would feel guilty to not pursue the facts on the ground. I may even go to Gaza when things settle down. Lots of kids there who need attention.

When in Rwanda -- after the nightmare there -- we went to orphanages with gifts for the kids. They were so needy. I'll post a photo one day.

Many thanks for this! It is embarrassing and alarming, really, how little coverage there is for this situation. Meanwhile, there appears to be a competition for who, in legacy media, can do alarmist the best about the most trivial and petty problem.

And I think none of this is by accident, mistake, or incompetence.

Thank you so much, Trish. I cannot understand how humans can do this to other humans. But I am grateful to you for covering it.

Breaks my heart. The neocons have no reverse gear and no morality. My deepest respect for Dr. Khan, you and the many other selfless people trying to make a positive difference. And yes, "if they are selling a war — you are being lied to."

The people helping are better people than me and give me what little hope I have for humanity. Remember, the people giving the orders are among the sickest sociopaths WHO ever lived. The military people doing it aren't much better. The people facilitating it are your elites and mine. Never forget what our leaders are doing. They're showing us what they are, we should pay close attention. For the dear leader is an honorable man, so are they all, ALL honorable Men. Oh yeah, Lady Macbeth is alive and well with many sisters. I guess that's progress.

Hi Trish, when I select the video, all I get is a programmed voice reading your article. I am a subscriber. Is there another place in Substack where I can see the video? Not that I need to see it as listening to the podcast was hard enough! I'm curious as I haven't been able to see any of your videos on this platform as of late.

Thank you both. I went to bed thinking about all those people, especially the little children and the bravery of the healthcare workers and ambulance staff. I also wonder about all the poor animals too, the cats, dogs, donkeys, etc. Long-suffering, patient beings. If I could stop this with just my willing it to stop, I would. I wish it to stop with all my might and I know so many of us feel this way. Heart-wrenching. Did it seem that the Israeli government said a slightly hopeful thing today about reigning in their terror and killing?

I can't even think about the animals.....imagine how frightened the dogs are with all the noise and chaos. Mine freaks out in a thunderstorm. These bombardments are incredibly loud and will temporarily deafen a person who is too near. Imagine how traumatic for the pets. Hungry. Scared. It is unbearable. I know, people matter more but still....I am a dog lover.

I entirely concur. Those animals, including the lions in the zoo, are all starving to death. It makes me sick to my stomach. Such suffering. And the little kids who are entirely confused why life is so miserable. It never ends. Animal rescue right now seems incomprehensible to those who think that only humans matter. They do matter and they matter a lot. But so do all the dogs, cats, donkeys, horses, zoo animals, etc. They matter immensely, too.
