My partner and I have zero trust or confidence in the medical community/government. The covid fascism was a real eye opener. Not just how oppressed we were, but how much they, along with a lot of our fellow citizens, ENJOYED doing it. The same people/police who hated the Freedom Convoy have no problem at all with the violent, racist and distinctly unCanadian river to the sea NPCs. I don't recognize my country (nor the "western world") anymore. SMDH.

In listening to you two discuss why this story won’t break, I think it’s what Daryl Cooper calls a “load bearing myth.” It is painful to realize that you have subjected your children to something extraordinarily harmful. It honestly can keep me awake some nights. Since the covid crisis, I have often thought about how much easier it would be to still be asleep on these issues, believing the mainstream narratives.

I'm a bit thin-skinned on this. Part of it is the Dan Olmsted story which is so very sad. I admired him and he was kind to me. We broke the big Iraq War soldiers Meflequin story that became an episode of Law and Order SVU. Just a difficult day to be misunderstood and that's on me. Your kind words are appreciated.

KA - I completely agree and empathise. I too think I would sleep easier if I ‘didn’t know’ and admit to occasionally being jealous of those who are still ‘blissfully’ unaware. However, I take strength from the fact that my children have woken with me and I can but hope that that this will allow them to make better decisions on the future.

The answer is maintaining civil liberties.

Rather than fear-mongering about illness, instead, we need to prioritise FREEDOM and CHOICE

This was the focus of all the protests I attended over the course of two years.

The focus on fear-of-death (on both sides) lost us the dissidence battle.

OMG, Toby was so informative!!! Every time he said he wept I teared up. We are in such a horribly predictable world. I have been able to predict with regularity, not perfect, but pretty close what is lies or obfuscation. He is a force of nature. MAHA is disappointing but it is a war and battles are won one at a time. Brett has said on his podcast that the politics are so difficult. I want to trust him so I will. He adjusts his view when he has been wrong so is ethical. Excellent excellent pod this week.

Toby tearing up got to me too. I've been in the same boat over the years when our journalistic team I was working with made a huge discovery that affected people's lives. It's hard not to be emotional when so much harm is being done. I worry about the people who aren't.

Fabulous podcast!!! You're a treasure, Trish. I loved your inspiring comments at the end. And isn't Olivia Chow a piece of work???. And wow, Toby was a fantastically informative guest. A comment about Trump & Elon. In recent years I've become familiar with some of the traits often shared by people who are "on the spectrum" (referring to Aspergers types). I find they tend to have very "prickly" personalities, & tend to be very easy to offend - often miscontruing remarks not meant to be at all insulting. A fair amount of anger, & a tendency toward occasional hissy fits during which they exile (for a time) people they've liked or loved. So. Elon's behaviour doesn't surprise me too much. (As for Trump, well; we know he's an odd cat at the best of times, who says stuff he oughtn't to. That's nothing new.) #truthovertribe!!

My take on her comments, in that clip you showed, is that she's lost her marbles. But then, I think a lot of (if not most of) the people "in charge" have lost their marbles. So. There's that.

Great episode, Trish! I'd not heard of Toby, but many many of his topics I was familiar with through TheHighWire content. Truly shocking info about the vaccines. I hope my boy has a child while I'm still alive so I can help him through the vaccine process and hopefully steer him away from most of them...

How do you not come to the conclusion that from the humble family member, parent, teacher, nice guy who likes hockey, to the wealthiest CEO, most powerful political operator, top lawyers, doctors, heads of other professions and civil servants --- all people are willing with knowledge or willful blindness to accept mass murder.... and lose no sleep about it.... because to do otherwise isn't comfortable, convenient, easy, or they just can't bother caring.... leaving aside those who profit massively. We need to reassess the historical narrative as to who are the evil ones of history ... to me the historical narrative is a distraction, partly mythological, and cover for the real evil around us.... which is on a scale so great, that to contemplate it fully without some kind of moral sunglasses or painkiller will simply drive us mad

The so called 'scientists and experts' during the Covid debacle were clearly government shills. There was BIG money to be made for all the players (pushers) in the promotion of these 'bioweapons'. NO ONE, except those who are awake, asked the obvious question, WHY would physicians, scientists and nurses LEAVE their careers and livelihoods IF what they surmised about the vaccines and hospital protocols wasn't TRUE? Also, if one could study the correlation between the ingredients in FLU vaccines vs the increase in dementia, Alzheimers and Parkinson's disorders, throughout the years, guaranteed that both mercury and ALUMINUM were used as adjuvants (that's what ignites the juice to flow into your system) and that could explain how those neurological disorders had risen. I had the standard 'shots' in my birth era and nothing since having been told over 50 years ago that 'herd' immunity was our best defense. There's SICK people messing around with 'science' and I mean deranged. The WHO and our 'health' agencies are ripe with nutters who should be disqualified apart from jailed for crimes against humanity!

Some (many?) doctors have become comfortable atop pedestals in their community. They are part of an exclusive club that has studied hard together, and they harbour knowledge which can be valuable to others. They are humans and naturally come to fear losing status, good will with their colleagues, and the financial perks. In short, going against the narrative meant blowing up their lives; hence, many chose to buy the story and even profit from administering shots. Others may have been sceptical - and even fudged their personal jab passports - but did not want to break with the narrative, lest they topple from pedestals. A sad tale.

"They would rather believe in something that is false than believe in nothing at all"

That quote from Toby bounced around in my head all day. It is a profound observation that applies far beyond the vaccine debate and explains a great deal about the psychology behind popular public opinion. Many of us experienced a catharsis during Covid when our delusions and long held faith in institutions were irreparably shattered. In my view, one of the deepest divides in this country now exists between those can never unsee what occurred and those who, for a myriad of reasons, were willfully blind to reality. Denial is obviously a common defence mechanism. However, once you endure the painful experience of separating from the herd, rejoining is simply unfathomable.

As the World Turns, the bullshit never stops, the World is a stage, we are all players in it, you just have to learn to read in between the lines, “ There is the Truth and There is the Lie, nothing in between “ what the World tries to sell you is the negative in between, lies, corruption, deceit etc, it is like a Matrix, Hologram to what reality really is, I have immense respect for the people that see thru the bullshit and write about it, there are no Conspiracy Theorists, that’s a Communist play word, in reality it is “ Truth Theorists “

Trish, thank you for this wonderful podcast with Toby. It was such a great summation of several issues that I struggle with - Who is Trump and why do the shots continue? Why did Susie Wiles get placed as his Chief of Staff? How far back do harmful vaccinations go? Why are there no legal remedies? Why has Bobby Kennedy lost his voice - he was so powerful in opposition? And, of course, autism. This discussion was so helpful. My last comment is that I am always amazed at how careful people are about condemning that which obviously needs condemning. I am not referring to your guest - just in general. I love it when i see someone calling a spade, a shovel and they do it with no fear! We need more of that. The truth of covid was evident week 1 in March of 2020 - all it took was accessing Neil Ferguson’s study ( Imperial College). I for one, am tackling our reality by never complying, by believing the government will harm rather than help and by governing my decisions accordingly and by having no verbal filter. I call that Freedom.

This was an epic show, Trish. You were brave to air it. Questioning anything about vaccines, and especially suggesting they might be one of the causes of autism, has the same result as you’d expect if you stood up in a church and proclaimed God didn’t exist. Your observation about the BCG vaccine and your husband was interesting. I have a vague recollection that at the beginning of the scamdemic there was speculation about it possibly helping with Covid. Grok claims there is growing evidence that it may have broader effects on the immune system. My 34 year old daughter had it as an infant (she was born in Romania), and has had a lot of health issues, including two autoimmune diseases, so it didn’t work out that way for her. And my 43 year old daughter-in-law, who was born in China, had it as a child and I would say she her viral illnesses are the same severity as the rest of our family. I have to say that at this point even if they find it offers some kind of general protection I’m not interested. Post Covid my stance is the only jab I’ll take is for rabies if I’m bitten by an infected animal.

The BCG this is totally weird. I've been with my husband for ten years watching him catch the occasional infection that has laid low everybody I know. He would be sick for 12 hours and then perfect. It was so strange. Hard to believe, though.

Our dear s-i-l grew up in a very very large family and they lived on a farm. The only milk they knew was mother’s milk and raw milk from the barn. These children, now grown, all seem to have remarkable immune systems. Could be an anomaly - or a recipe for hardiness. We’ll not find out about any benefits from raw milk in Canuckistan, but in the US it is increasingly available.

Done lots of research on raw milk. My opinion- it’s not an anomaly. Raw milk is healthy. Full stop. Anything pasteurized has had all life taken out of the food. The food is dead. Now: I still cook my meat, to be clear, but I try to my best to avoid pasteurized foods. I like life & living foods😉 Common Sense is not so common I find. Not a judgement, just my observation.

Our dear teen grandson works part time on a local dairy farm. He has access to the raw milk there if he wants but is concerned that the farmer is not as diligent at ensuring the cleanliness of lines of the exterior taps so worries about giving g’ma the milk. Having said that, the farmer and his family drink it and are healthy. So, I am conflicted. I have access where others in this nation do not.

Great interview. Smart questions, enlightening answers. Toby is such a great researcher. I don`t think though that the majority of the population thinks the vaccines should be pulled. Most normies still do not know the truth about vaccines. Both Makary and Jay were never fully on the vaccine sceptic train so aren`t all-in on pulling them. Not recommending them for healthy young people was the best they could do at this point. Kennedy is trying the thread the needle and playing the long game. Could you imagine if they immediately pulled vaccines off the market? Either they would all be dismissed as quack anti-vaxxers or the backlash from the public including billions in public lawsuits due to government and media lies would be massive. The game must be played cautiously, smartly and with the long goal of course correcting an ocean liner filled with corporate capture, fraudulent research and media complicity.

PSS: The very best passage in the video, from 52:00-55:00, has Toby speaking of Americans' naive belief in value-free science, meritocracy, etc. -- i.e. the ideology of deluded (and usually rather dumb) American normies. And yet, in a supreme irony, neither he nor Trish can see that the same exact critique can and must be applied to Trump and MAGA. "They don't know what to believe in. They're terrified. And so they would rather believe in something that's false [like Trump and MAGA] than believe in nothing at all.... when you take that away, they fight back hard because they don't want to stare into the void." EXACTLY. No one, including Toby and Trish, wants to accept just how deep and total the corruption really is. Hence they actually believe (!!!) in a blatantly grifting lying criminal sack of shit like Trump. They actually believe (!!!) that American can be made great again (whatever that would actually mean).
