Given the latest -- let me weigh in. I'm sorry she is having an ordeal and as I said I really admire her. At some point someone needs to explain why lies were told and photos faked as a solution to a comms problem.
A simple media release would have sufficed. The words around the cancer and treatment were chosen carefully. What was the original surgery? If they diagnosed some cells from pathology slides two weeks ago -- why did KP say she would be out for months back in January? The subterfuge from such a seminal family has done a lot of damage. Many will not forget it no matter how many pushes we get from Rebecca English and Richard Eden. I feel for her but this was not the way.

But that said, they have a role societally- to set a certain mainstream media bar ( and I’m also anti-mainstream media) for the zeitgeist, so if this speculation ( let’s call It that for now) is accurate , the royals need to do that modern thing and out one’s self for one’s mental health issues. Like you say, Diana did it, and with grace. But they are holding back with public statements. I think we’ve actually entered a new regressive age, partly due to the online public shaming and cancel culture. After hearing your observation I googled a bit - and did note comments about her having a similar condition to GERDS with all her pregnancies. So add bulimia to her challenges expect her body has sustained a lot of damage. Totally agree, while I too respect her privacy, she is a public person. Having good friends recovering from bulimia, shame rules the show. If this is what she is suffering from and she has been successful at hiding it so far, she may never have gotten help yet. In my experience, it would take her some time to be honest with herself and others. She has to admit she has a problem before she can do that. I think you would be able to relate to this Trish.
